Sold me a Used Jeep Wrangler on April 9th 2022. It broke down on the way back to my home state. Was told by new dealership in my home state after having it towed, that Lake City 'forgot' to tig It broke down on the way back to my home state. Was told by new dealership in my home state after having it towed, that Lake City 'forgot' to tighten bolts and screws when inspecting causing many issues while driving home on the interstate. The new dealership (in my home state) is now wondering if they just reset the check engine light and sold it quickly. It is now 9/30/22 and still have not drove the jeep due issues with the check engine light and sensors. This dealership has NOT taken any ownership for this even though I have sent countless emails, texts and phone calls just asking for help to fix a $33,000 problem that they sold me and has not been drove but 300 miles in total (this is from the time I bought it, broke down, and test drives by new dealership only to have the check engine light back on). They have a)ruined a 16 year olds birthday b)cost a hard working family so much time, stress and money that was are near a breakdown c) most importantly, put our life in danger on the state of the interstate when the jeep went into a limp mode and we lost all control. Still zero response from the GM (Tony Taylor) or this dealership!! Also, filed and received a case number from Jeep corporate (they forced the Lake City to pay for the first of may issues), however after that the dealership in my home state has worked with issues under warranty and even footed the bill for some things not believing this dealership could do this. Since it was a used Jeep in Florida they couldn't force them to take the Jeep back and we closed the case, however recommended a lawyer. I am still in the process of this however due to the cost, stress and Florida laws I may not be able to. Just know if something goes wrong they will NOT help in any way. More
