Drove 60 miles one way there to try and buy a new durango that was advertised at a $9k discount. The msrp of $62k was offered at $53k. A great deal! Made an appointment but when arrived was given the buy it price of $73k!! Nowhere was the $53k mentioned or shown. We had to show them their own $53k sale price on the website. A scam?? Rip offs of unnecessary warranties and huge added fees and markups boosted the price. And I was a serious buyer with cash. Worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. I did check their other website vehicles since and they ALL have huge phony sale prices! Talk about false advertising! And they still are trying to sell that durango 3 weeks later. Stay away! More
When I was approved for the vehicle, I was told to wait because of a couple things were being repaired. The break light was one of those things, come to find out it wasn’t repaired and it still hasn’t been because of a couple things were being repaired. I honestly feel this vehicle shouldn’t have been released until the break light was repaired. On yesterday I called and spoke with a manager named Adrian I think and she stated that she didn’t know rather the parts were in and she was going to call and check. This was yesterday Feb.15,23 morning and today is Feb.16,23 as of now I have yet to hear back from Ms. Adrian and I feel I have been more than patient. It’s getting ridiculous. This is the type of stuff up set people. More

STAY AWAY I found a truck I wanted online for a competitive price of $45,000 Upon visiting the dealership, a salesman "who was up" took me to see the car. It had two large dents and a substantial scratch (down to the metal) on the vehicle. When it came time to negotiate the previously unmentioned damage, there was no moving on the price. They also were then going to add fees for "predelivery" $899, "tag fee" $189, "electronic registration" $199, and "Lake City CDJR Advantage" for $1995. This vehicle would then be $3,282+tax= $3,528 on top of a $45,000 truck with damage. The salesman told me he could lower the price if I went with his financing company... but couldn't explain the numbers to me. I asked him to try. He could not. STAY AWAY. More
After searching for 2 weeks for a used Challenger, we came to Lake City Dodge. I wanted to buy from a Dodge dealership because I assumed they would want to sell a car that they could put their name behin came to Lake City Dodge. I wanted to buy from a Dodge dealership because I assumed they would want to sell a car that they could put their name behind and earn a service customer. I was wrong. We did purchase a vehicle but the experience was sketchy. The salesman told us all used vehicles receive a power train warranty, giving us a story that this is something the owner does that sets them apart from other dealers. This was untrue and we didn’t learn that it wasn’t included until we were in the final stages of signing on the dotted line. Once we drove the car home the oil change light came on. We called the service department to schedule service and to redeem the windshield coating that was included in the purchase price but the dealership didn’t have time to apply during the purchase. They were busy and asked for a number to call us back. No one called back. We tried again the next day, same story. No return call. So we called Gainesville Dodge and set up the oil change there. While there I asked them to do a multi point inspection. The car had badly leaking rear shocks and bald rear tires. The alignment was out. All four shocks and tires needed to be replaced. Gainesville was shocked that a Dodge dealer would let a car leave their lot in the condition it was in. It was unsafe to drive. If you are looking for a trustworthy Dodge dealership, this is not it.
