Dear Sir or Madam, I live a 4. 5 hour drive away from the Lake City, FL dealership. I saw an ad for a used truck listed on Kelly Blue Book. I asked for more photos and the salesman sent a video and I saw that there were scratches on the passenger rear bed panel. I asked for additional photos of this and any damage and three photos of areas of damage were texted to me. I asked to take money off for these three areas and they sent a revised invoice and I agreed to drive there with my wife. When I got there it was evident that there was more body damage to the truck as the tailgate was broken and dented and the bumper had been in two accidents. The bumper accident had forced the bumper into the side bed aluminum panels crumpling them. I regret not leaving the dealership at that point because they didn’t text me photos of the tailgate and bumper at all being damaged, nor did they tell me that the tailgate didn’t close properly. I asked to take an additional $2500 for this damage and it was agreed upon. I then waited for two hours to sign electronically for a cash sale. I took the used truck home and it’s currently in the body shop. The body shop said the bumper needs replacing, tailgate latch and handle replaced, and both the right and left bed panels replaced. The damage thus far is $9680.66 to fix at Cooks Paint and Body in Pace, FL, which is way over the $2500 that was allotted for the repair. I would like to know all that if it were my dealership so that I could make it right for the customer. At least next time the salesman should be more honest about the damage before a customer drives so far to see a vehicle. More
Let me start by saying never use this service department. We have not had a truck for a month now and the only problem is a blown head gasket. When me and my fiancé call all they do is give us the run around We have not had a truck for a month now and the only problem is a blown head gasket. When me and my fiancé call all they do is give us the run around and tell us both different stories. They called me today and told me the inspector had already been out they were calling the extended warranty company to see if they were going to cover it and would call me right back. They did not call me right back so my fiancé called and they told him the inspector wouldn’t be out for 48 to 72 hours. So which story is it? We are definitely trading this truck in once it is fixed which we made known from the beginning. But we will not be doing business with lake city dodge jeep again. And I surely will never recommend them. More

We have a 2018 Dodge 3500 Ram and came to your dealership in answer to a flier you sent out. The add was for an oil change for our vehicle including the oil and filters and a multipoint inspection. We were g in answer to a flier you sent out. The add was for an oil change for our vehicle including the oil and filters and a multipoint inspection. We were greeted by what seemed like friendly people till you get the bill. The add was $89.95 for all the above. When it was time to pay the cashier, the bill had gone to $156.00+. Okay, a mistake was made. The final bill contained all kinds of gotcha extra charges. So we settled at $113.00. There was a video sent out and I had hoped to go over it before the truck was off the lift. The mechanic pointed out that the fuel filters were at zero life left. But no one came to us to let us know that fuel filters were not in the deal. Had we known this, we would have paid extra to have it done. So, I was talked into this by a wife looking to make life easier for her 74 year old husband. But what I got was about half of the work that a service of a one-ton truck should have, a big bill ,and sent out with fuel filters that were depleted and might just leave us on the side of the road before we can get home. I now get to crawl over the engine to service the top fuel filters and underneath it to get to the bottom fuel filters. No real problem if you are a younger man and got a lift in a big shop to make that job easy. While there, we got a note inquiring to see if we would be interested in trading in our vehicle. Just in case you can't figure this one out, a new vehicle is a big decision. A lot of trust is needed to enter a long-term relation with a dealer. I would not return to your dealer ship if you would trade even! Your special was merely a come on to bring people in. But you did exactly half the work needed to service a 3500 truck. You deceive and misrepresent your service! Why would anyone buy from you? In summary, You could have sold more service, but no one ask me! You could have sold me a set of new tires, but no one asked me. My truck is 5 years old with 45K miles on it and you might have gotten a deal, but after not asking us about the filters, and handing us back the truck, we were done. So you lose a customer! . More
