I came in for a routine oil change, I have been coming there since I bought my truck. I had an issues with a squealing sound during a cold start. They could not identify the issue. Ask me to leave overni there since I bought my truck. I had an issues with a squealing sound during a cold start. They could not identify the issue. Ask me to leave overnight a few days later. I did this and was then told there was an issue with the alternator and it would cost $890 to fix. I picked up the truck, charged $100 to have looked at it. Brought the truck to another place, and they said no you just need a belt replaced, $90 all in. What a scam, needless to say I do not plan on bringing my vehicle in the service dept for any additional maintenance. I would have thought the dealership would be more loyal. More

Don’t offer late service appointments if service cannot be done at a late time. I had an appointment at 4:45 to be serviced and all mechanics were gone. It just made absolutely no sense to me, so I had to be done at a late time. I had an appointment at 4:45 to be serviced and all mechanics were gone. I had called about a noise my 2023 equinox was making . I had originally took it back to where I purchased it and they were not able to “hear the noise “ when I called Lake Chevrolet the guy that answered I had originally took it back to where I purchased it and they were not able to “hear the noise “ when I called Lake Chevrolet the guy that answered asked me to bring it in and he said he would take a drive with me to see if he could identify the noise. With in 5 min of being in the car he was able to figure out the cause. He then had the issues fixed and the car back to me within 1 hr. Great service!!!!! I will be going here instead of where I purchased the vehicle (Holz) More
