I felt like I had won the Lotto when I reached TIM TINGLEY. My husband and I have worked in the Automotive Business for over 25 years, he, as a Master ASE Tech, and me, in Upper Management. I was prepared to get the brush off, but was pleasantly surprised by TIM's soft spoken, knowledgeable, compassionate demeanor. He answered all of my questions, and then some. He went out of his way not to pressure me. His follow up was the best I have ever encountered. He wanted to check the R.O. on the car, as it was a high mileage vehicle. He not only did that, he sent us the R.O. so we could see exactly what was done, needed, and or recommended be done. He could tell I was very concerned about the upkeep and told me he wanted to go out and go over the car again, as if HE himself was looking to purchase it. He did an extensive hands on inspection, including a "nose test", no smokers, etc. He even sent a photo on my cell phone of a very minor scratch on the rear bumper. He treated me with the utmost respect during the entire procedure. I would recommend driving any distance to buy a Used Vehicle from Tim, because he will be your eyes, when you cannot be there. Used car sales experience was the BEST EVER! We had the BEST experience EVER buying a car from this dealership! The only reason we came all of the way to Lansing to buy a car is because our sales We had the BEST experience EVER buying a car from this dealership! The only reason we came all of the way to Lansing to buy a car is because our sales agent Todd Cowen made it such an awesome experience. Todd was very helpful and courteous, he treated us like a family member. We had gone to 3 other dealerships in Brighton, Waterford and Fenton and were treated like we were idiots. Todd Cowen found the exact vehicle we were looking for within an hour of our arrival. He even took us to another LaFontaine lot a couple of blocks away to find what we needed and it was even closing time! We purchased a 2013 GMC Acadia with low mileage and we couldn't be happier. The finance department was very helpful and expedient. If you want a great experience purchasing a vehicle you need to see Todd Cowen. More

Over the top! Alex M. was our sales guy. SUPER professional and went crazy above and beyond. Stayed an extra hour after close just so my husband and I could look at Alex M. was our sales guy. We pretty much had our minds made up, assuming the car drove well which it did. He got paper work started, again after hours FROM HOME just so we could get in and out as quick as possible! Then, when we came in at open, he already had the car waiting for us to test drive by the time my husband and I were both there. We also had our five year old daughter with us. He never once was bothered by her presence. He engaged with her and even brought her crayons and a coloring book. Oh! And earlier in the week he brought a car to us to test drive. Great Experience My vehicle broke down and I was in a pinch pretty good. I work on the road and travel a lot as my profession. This was only the second dealership I ha My vehicle broke down and I was in a pinch pretty good. I work on the road and travel a lot as my profession. This was only the second dealership I had stopped by with my Dad after getting back in town one evening. We shopped around for a few minutes and out came a gentleman by the name of Todd Cowen. We looked at options and by the first night had all but closed on a truck. After "sleeping" on it for a night and talking to my father it was decided that maybe after years of driving trucks and getting 20mpg maybe a car was the way to go with all the traveling. After the second night Todd had me pulling off the lot in a Ford Fusion averaging high 20s, low 30s for mpg. I couldn't be happier with my experience and how late Todd was willing to stay and make the deal happen with EVERY last incentive possible. If you want a great, reliable automobile for the best possible price I highly recommend going to Lafontaine and seeing Todd Cowen. Great experience with a great man. More
