I brought in a new car (not a Hyundai) that I had just recently purchased and was very dissatisfied with. First went to the Sales Manager, who introduced me to Dennis. From the onset until the end of the transaction, Dennis was a joy to work with. (I had a recent HORRID experience with a salesman at another (not Hyundai) dealership, so it was such a relief to deal with someone like Dennis.) He was helpful, patient, and has a very good temperament for working with people. When all was said and done, he took items from the other car to my new purchase, explained the 'bells and whistles' -even put my favorite license plate holder on the car for me - Oh, and he took me on a test drive that I requested - up a steep hill to see if I was satisfied with the power of the car. I would feel very comfortable, if any questions or problems arise with this car, to go back to Dennis for any help or suggestions. AND if I heard of anyone wanting to buy a car, I would suggest that they see Dennis Brumley at Hyundai of Puyallup. More

This is the second vehicle we've purchased from this store. While the sales experience has always been excellent, primarily because of Alex and Vern, the service dept. has been a real disappointment. store. We purchased a 12 Veracruz and have had some very minor issues with it: 1. Vehicle needed to be cleaned. We purchased it in the evening and the detail dept. was closed. 2. The vehicle pulled slightly and an independent shop confirmed alignment was out. 3. Noise while making sharp turns. While all these issues were minor, it is how the service dept. treated them that upset us. First, we were told that this vehicle was not designed to travel on gravel. Rocks were lodged in the hub assembly and next time it would not be covered under warranty. The advisor explained that under no circumstances was this vehicle to exceed 2.5-5 mph on gravel or other loose surfaces. Second, alignment was unchanged, everything was in spec. Third, we were told the detail dept. wasn't the best. I ended up doing it myself. The tech also left grease prints on the seeat. I sent an email to the service manager but never did get a response. I've always liked servicing my vehicles were I've bought them and I typically interview/talk with service prior to buying the vehicle. While the sales side of things were great, I really feel the service side of Korum simply dropped the ball. They were given multiple chances to correct the issues, and just plain didn't. I would recommend choosing a different dealership, perhaps one that takes care of you in BOTH sales and service. With companies trying to win every customer, those dealerships should be easy to find. ***UPDATE*** The service manager contacted us and has offered to correct all of our issues. More
