Mind you i just had a newborn so im not driving anywhere unless its for an appointment. Hyundai scheduled me for an appointment at 7:30am on FEBRUARY 1ST take a look and see why it was leaking. So i had it towed to the dealer the night before so that they could get to work immediately. By 4pm on FEBRUARY 1ST no call back on status even though i replied to the "you can contact us at anytime by texting us" text. No replies. I called finally and the advisor stated the tech just said theyd take a look at 4PM....WHAT?!?! Take a look just now?! Then they said it was going to be held overnight because they are backed up. I informed them from the beginning that i had a newborn that was born with medical complications and needed it back asap but they still put me at the back of the line even though this was a dealership error. I had to cancel one of my babies appointments on the 2nd because i still wasnt getting my car back. Finally mid morning they said they fixed it and the issue was the tech overfilled the transmission. All i got throughout this whole ordeal was "i understand your situation", "i understand your concern"...blah blah blah. I asked to see a manager multiple times and they are never in. Whats the point if they are never in? I will update this review after contacting the General Manager. Lets see if they really care about there customers and do something about this or just give me the ole "i understand your concern". Well you understanding doesnt help me any. I have bought hyundais all my life but this is the last one for sure. This is the 2nd negative encounter i had with dealership. I was sold a car by hyundai and the paint was flying off while i was washing it with a garden hose with no nozzle. HUGE chip pieces. I googled it and apparently this is a common thing with the white cars. The dealership omly offered to pay 50% to fix it....thags like me selling you something thats broken and offering to only give you half back even though its my fault...what a scam. More

My family was returning from a vacation from PA to VA on January 15 when our driver side windshield wiper failed. It just started snowing, but we couldn’t complete our trip. We happened upon Koons Woodbrid January 15 when our driver side windshield wiper failed. It just started snowing, but we couldn’t complete our trip. We happened upon Koons Woodbridge Hyundai exit. The service department was extremely busy. We were very lucky to be helped by the manager and we were back on the road within 15 minutes. Thank you so much!!!!! More
I purchased a new 2020 Hyundai Sonata new from Koons of Woodbridge Hyundai on 05/26/2020. I purchased the Gold level extended warranty in the amount of $1,900 the same day. I'm now having issues with my ve Woodbridge Hyundai on 05/26/2020. I purchased the Gold level extended warranty in the amount of $1,900 the same day. I'm now having issues with my vehicle and find out that no one from the dealership submitted paperwork for my warranty and the warranty does not exist. The only people that can help me is the Koons of Woodbridge Hyundai. I've called, emailed, "chatted" online for the past 7 days and 1 of 2 things happen, they either answer the phone and/or chat only to put me on hold and never return OR send me to a voicemail to leave a message. NO ONE will call or email me back. I received a generic email from their "general manager" in which I responded immediately to, only to never receive a response or call back. I filed a complaint with Hyundai main office 6 days ago and have not received a call or email back. I'm extremely disappointed and want to warn others to CALL YOUR WARRANTY COMPANY. Confirm that it was actually purchased before you start having issues and no one is willing to help. More
I tried for over a week working with Koons sales and management personnel to purchase a vehicle they advertised online, in cash, and for the asking price. The only thing that I can say that is HONEST about Koons Hyundai of Woodbridge, VA, is that they honestly raised the "sleaze" bar for the cliché Used Car Salesman. After having to trick the sales manager Keith into getting on the phone to get answers as to why they kept manufacturing obstacles in the sale, he actually told me that they don't do online purchases due to fraud!?? I reminded him I was paying cash (wiring funds)where I was the only one exposed, and he then threw out they needed wet signatures . . . I offered the solutions to dispose of those claims . . . then he conceded "well we really rather sell to customers that finance and will bring the car here for service". As it stands now, he exited the phone call to go check to make sure the vehicle is still in their inventory , , , 2 days ago. Just beware as most all of the positive reviews for Koons, appear to be fabricated. Read the negative reviews, as they reflect a solid pattern. Unfortunately, seems to be systemic with Hyundai Dealers. More
The price they advertise is only a trick to get you in the door, it's not what they are willing to sell the car for. Plus you will waste hours of your time waiting. I brought my car in for service and waited 5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. The service order started I refused some recommended service and I was never asked or advised. As a loyal customer who purchased my car from Koons Woodbridge Hyundai, I expected a level of service that aligns with the trust I placed in the dealership. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with Koons Hyundai has left me utterly dissatisfied. My vehicle was at the dealership for an astonishing 33 hours for a diagnostic test that I paid for, along with an oil change. Despite the substantial time spent, the diagnostic issues were not resolved. This has been a frustrating ordeal, and I am now compelled to take my car to a different dealership for the necessary repairs. Rashad Cail served as my service advisor during this unfortunate experience, and I must express my dismay at his behavior. Mr. Cail exhibited a level of rudeness and disrespect that is unacceptable. On multiple occasions, he hung up on me when I called to inquire about the status of my car and to ask questions about the diagnostic tests. Moreover, his apparent difficulty in understanding my English language spoken which made communication even more challenging. This entire situation has tarnished my perception of Koons Hyundai and has eroded the trust I initially had in your dealership. I believe it is crucial for the management to be aware of the subpar customer service and unprofessional conduct displayed by Cail. I am now left with no choice but to seek assistance elsewhere for the resolution of my car issues. I request the opportunity to speak with someone in a higher management position to discuss this matter further and provide additional details about my experience. It is my hope that my concerns will be addressed promptly and that corrective actions will be taken to prevent other customers from enduring such a disappointing encounter with Koons Hyundai. More
