I took my 2024 Hyundai Sonata for service, and just 1,500 miles later, the splash shield fell off on the highway — it had no screws or clips at all. Clearly a bad installation, not road damage. When I returned, Service Advisor Zach refused responsibility, just blaming the mileage. That’s no excuse — a properly installed shield should never fall off. Also reported a horn issue — they ordered the part, called me in, and then claimed it had to be ordered again. When I said this is unacceptable, Service Director Jeremy Gigogne responded, “Why are you coming here then?” — instead of fixing the issue. This place is dishonest, with poor customer service, careless mechanics, and zero accountability. They left me to deal with the damage and cost. Please avoid this dealership. I’ll be filing complaints with Hyundai Corporate and NHTSA. More
The salesman, Mr. Hernandez, was extremely friendly, patience, and very knowledgeable of the Kona. Mr. Hernandez did more than selling the vehicle to us. He sold Koons. They should be proud to have such a salesman on their staff, kudo. It's a team effort at Koons, the salesman, sales manager, and the financing manager. We didn't finance, but the paperwork was handled by the financed manager. It's all digital and we were given a flash drive with images of the signed documents. It's our first time buying from Koons. We started out with our long time Hyundai dealer from whom we had bought new vehicle previously. We made an offer which they accepted, then they said, "we made a mistake in MD vs VA sales tax." We are from MD buying from a VA dealership. Fair enough, it was an honest assumption mistake, but they didn't come back with an updated price. We had no time to waste, so we went to Koons. We could have financed and then paid it off after a few payments to take advantage of the HMF $1,500.00 incentive, but the time and effort weren't worth it. We paid cash. More

We had 2 different salesmen. The first one, Calvin , helped us over the phone, but he wasn't working the day we went there. Dedin Abbas was the person who worked with us. We purchased a 2022 Tuscon SEL from him. We live in Maryland so , when the car was ready, he and Calvin delivered it to us. Before leaving he sat with me in the car to help sync our phones with the electronics. I would definitely recommend him to anyone buying a car. More
