After contacting several Volvo dealers via the internet, Wendy Aston, sales manager at Koons Volvo, was the first to call me. She had the car in the color and option packages I was looking for. I gave Koons Volvo the first opportunity to sell me, so I made an appointment to stop in. Right from the beginning, Wendy was there to greet us along with salesperson Jonathan Douglas. They were both extremely polite, courteous, informative, and very helpful. My wife test drove the vehicle, was shown how to operate different functions on the Volvo, we were given a tour of the facility, and met the other managers. I had a set price I was going to accept (internet no haggle best price) and also had an amount set for my trade in. I was pleasantly surprised that the trade in offer and new car negotiation was as easy and close to the prices I wanted. Our first overall experience with Koons Volvo was excellent and we can only hope the seller, buyer relationship we experienced continues. Jonathan Douglas did an excellent job explaining everything to us, and finance manager Rachel also did an excellent job, wrapping up the financial end. If there was one negetive or drawback, it's that 3 1/2 hours is much too long to spend in a dealership purchasing a car. We realize car purchases are of major importance, but dealerships have got to come up with a way to cut that time in half. The process should not take more than 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The sales person (Richard Hughes) was professional, attentive, and overall a pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to ensure the car was prepared for us and was very focused on making the trans attentive, and overall a pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to ensure the car was prepared for us and was very focused on making the transaction as simple as possible. I would recommend Richard to anyone as a great sales representative. The only reservation we have with the experience related to the speed and quality of the 3rd party body shop used to prepare the car. They were slow and certain items were missed that required a second visit to the shop. We recognize this is to some degree beyond the control of the dealership so without that experience, our overall rating would had been "5". More

Admittedly,I was a challenging customer because, initially, I was unwilling to be flexible. However, Camille Vigelle worked dilegntly to find a car that would be suitable for me. We looked at dozens of cars and finally after 9 hours of working with me, we were able to make a deal. The entire time the staff was super friendly and very accomadating, despite my high expectations and limited resources. Gary Rubenstein and Skip Stover also worked with Camille to find a car that fit both my approval and price. And even though I changed my mind about the vehicle I wanted to purchase several times, they all continued to work to make me happy.
