soooo dissapointed The short version.... bought a used Volvo, love it. Had an issue (check engine light) 3 weeks later. Wife dropped it off to be fixed. Next day car is ready but the same warning light is on. DO THEY CHECK THEIR WORK?????? Looks like another day before it will be fixed. Takes us an hour to get to Koons. They obviously don't respect our time. More
Its a car dealer I was in need of a car and I just went to look. I told the dealer what price range I wanted to stay in and the type of car I would accept. He looked one up in the computer and said I will be back. He drove the car around and it was very nice. I liked the price just under 20000. I test drove it and it was very nice. We walked inside to discuss my options and I soon called my husband about the car. My husband said walk away it cost to much. I told the dealer that my husband said the price needed to come down 2000. He said no the prices were set and they did not negotiate. Although I was not in love with the car I was tired and just wanted to go home. I got financed and drove off in about 2 hours. When I got home and looked up the car on KBB I over paid by 3500 just like my husband said. Oh well I have a car and I can get out of this rental I will just walk away the next time. This is part 2 of my review. About 4 weeks after I had the car I get a phone call on my job explaining a problem with the title. Apparently the car I was driving was not the car I brought on paper. The car I brought on paper was still in the lot. The temporary tags and registration was for that car that was till on the lot. I had no idea. I took the car back and accepted the car that was on the lot. They did give me the option to keep the car I had. It would just mean doing all kinds of paper work over again. I accepted the car and drove off. I called about my hard tags and they said they were not in but I already received my title. DON'T USE THIS DEALER. Disorganized mess. More

If you need a new car go see Brad Hudson! I went to Koons Volvo of Owings Mills yesterday to buy my very first car and my sales guy - Brad Hudson was AMAZING! I was a nervous wreck since I've I went to Koons Volvo of Owings Mills yesterday to buy my very first car and my sales guy - Brad Hudson was AMAZING! I was a nervous wreck since I've never bought a car all by myself before. Brad knew the car inside and out and explained all the features of my new car to me in plain English that I could easily understand. He also walked me through the financing portion of the transaction and explained all the details of how my credit score worked and what that meant to my monthly payments. He encouraged me to research my score so I knew I was getting the best financing rate. I've heard people say things about car salesman and high pressure tactics, but Brad was the exact opposite. He put me at ease and made the transaction smooth and fun and even entertained me while I waited. Angel Cooper in Finance was also very nice and professional and made me feel better about having my first car loan. I'm going to tell everyone I know to go see Brad and Angel if they need a new (or used) car! More

Went to Bill Kids and walked out stress free with a much better price on a new volvo. Gave koons another chance with their service department and regretted it as soon as I walked through the door. They continued to be inconsistent between what they said on the phone and what they said in person and love to review the diagnostic with you and make everything sound so urgent and necessary. When I got a second opinion from a trusted service provider, they fixed minor issues at a fraction of the cost and said half of the items are completely unnecessary. More
Unsatisfied Customer I am very unhappy with the way the transaction went down. I spoke with the Sales Rep (Kenya Beil) and the finance Manager (Lee Charles) on the 8th an I am very unhappy with the way the transaction went down. I spoke with the Sales Rep (Kenya Beil) and the finance Manager (Lee Charles) on the 8th and was told by the Finance Manager that the cost of the GAP insurance was $700. I told him I can get this for $200-300 with my bank. He said, let me see what I can do to get it down." On the day of the purchase (10/10), I saw on the paperwork that now it costs $800! It even went up! Also, at that time, the KBB value of the 2013 Elantra I traded in was over $10k. After the car was assessed, they only offered $10k, which is even below the KBB value! Whatever happened to what Koons has been advertising, "125% KBB!?!" The process went too fast with the paperwork that even though I wanted to back out (because all these costs and values were not presented before getting the car cleaned, processed, etc.), I was not able to. Then a week after, I checked with my bank if my trade in was paid off yet. I was told by my bank that it has not and they have been wondering why/what's taking so long??? It was only paid off on Monday, 10/20! So that's why the balance of the trade that was added on to my purchase was exorbitantly higher than what the real pay off was! When I called Kenya to inquire what's causing the delay of the payoff, I was just told "I am off today. Contact the Finance Manager who processed your transaction." What a way to treat a customer. I understand that she's off, couldn't she have provided the name and contact information or offered to help me when she's back the following day? Now you ask me for referrals? NO WAY!!! Don't want my friends treated the way I was treated... I would NEVER refer anyone to Koons. It was a rip off! I am not wealthy at all and all I wanted is a quality car, but the dealer was just all about ripping people off and making money! Fernando Santico More

HORRIBLE DEALER WHO RIPPED ME OFF WITH A LEMON I purchased a vehicle in May of this year. It is now September and the clutch is shot. They told me that the clutch must have been perfectly fine and I purchased a vehicle in May of this year. It is now September and the clutch is shot. They told me that the clutch must have been perfectly fine and I ruined it. It is not even possible to burn in a clutch in 7000 miles even if you drive it like you're in Tokyo Drift but grind every gear. They are refusing to service is because I didn't buy their ripoff protection plan. I will never be purchasing a vehicle here again. Lesson learned. More

The worst expirence I have ever had in purchasing a car. I am a military member and have purchased cars all over the US and asia. They literally took over a year and a half and a legal threat for me to get I am a military member and have purchased cars all over the US and asia. They literally took over a year and a half and a legal threat for me to get my title. When I informed them the tire pressure guage was not working properly after only 5 months they said that was not their problem. I drove around on temp tags for over 7 months constantly calling them and emailing with no reply. I had to drive 2 hours north again and speak with a supervisor before they thought it was relevant. DO NOT BUY FROM KOONS. More
