Our sales representative DE was kind, thoughtful, and expert at showing us the car, leading us thru the test drive, answering our questions, and processing the paperwork. Then the financial office representative SB led us quickly and painlessly thru the title, license, and payment process. We greatly appreciate the kind and expert service we received and would not hesitate to buy another car from Koons of Silver Spring if the opportunity and/or need arose. Thanks. More
Terrible overprice service. Cocky, arrogant personnel Took my 2014 Ford Escape (30,900 miles) in for a sucking air noise coming from under hood. Sound diminishes when brake is applied. Service Advisor Ernesto Uribe stated it was vacuum leak. All day difficult and expensive repair, because of the location, behind engine supposedly. 24 hours later no word from Uribe regarding repair. Unable to reach him by phone. Told he is busy when I finally connect with an Advisor. Attempt to reach Service Director Todd Ruprecht unsuccessful. Message left but he does not return my call. 48 hours later I speak with Service Manager Marc Waybright. Now repair includes leaking brake booster seal. Additional several hundred dollars. Final repair - Brake Booster replacement only! No mention of vacuum leak but charged nonetheless for repairs not performed. I would not recommend Koons Silver Spring and will never return. Dismissive, arrogant, cocky personnel. Ignored by Service Director. Learn by example. Service Advisor Uribe learned from his boss. Hold the vehicle hostage, charge for repairs not performed, ignore customer. Never again! More

He was terse and surly right from the start even though I had given him no reason to be that way. The only redeeming factor was the shop foreman who was very helpful in explaining what was happening. Do not come here I brought my truck in to replace the dead instrument cluster. They fixed it... But it took 3 days for them to even look at it when I had an appointmen I brought my truck in to replace the dead instrument cluster. They fixed it... But it took 3 days for them to even look at it when I had an appointment the first day. When i got it back the glove box was broken, and two box cutter blades were left in two different parts of the cab. I had a 5yo and dogs in it the next day. Take it back for a second chance to fix the brakes and glove box that they broke. I call, get a quote, make an appointment. They say it'll be done in under 2 hours. I drop it off, and 2 hours later they call to tell me it'll cost more than double what I was quoted, and it would take another 2 hours. I'm not interested in being taken advantage of. Also, they didn't fix the glove box. The original price quoted was already high, but the second was astronomical. DO NOT COME HERE. More

Billy Mensh, my salesman is terrific. He answers every question and sometimes more than once. Class guy! The flip side is the service department. Lot's of attitude. They are very busy. And that's great. But are they too busy to be courteous, accommodating or fix it right the first time. My experience has unfortunately been negative. I did complain to Carol who is the customer coordinator. She is great as she is part of Orlove's team. But I made an appointment with a different Ford Dealership to bring my car in for service. More
