On one occasion,my Edge died on me (battery). This happened around 4pm. I called roadside service. They arrived on time,however since the respondant could not reach my battery with his cables, we had happened around 4pm. I called roadside service. They arrived on time,however since the respondant could not reach my battery with his cables, we had to push the truck out of my drive way. We could not unlock the gearshift. I then called Toney Kendell,he was off and on his way home but he gave me the gentleman's name to contact at Koons ford in Silver Spring, MD. The gentleman was David. He proceeded to instruct us on what to do in order to unlock the "shift.Both gentlemen were very helpful and I take this time to thank them for their time and patience. The other occasion was when the truck over heated. This happened on a Saturday just before their service department closed. Again, I called roadside service and as usual they showed up promtly and towed my truck to Koons of Silver Spring,MD. The person on duty took my information and assured me that if they could not get to it that day that I would be contacted on Monday A.M..David contacted me as promised and repaired my truck as promised.He explained to me what happened and what they repaired.This was done under warrenty.Thank you (Ford Motor Company). Byron was awesome. I was looking at this car for awhile and have had awful experiences at other dealerships. Byron was understanding, not pushy and just really made me feel comfortable with my decision. I and have had awful experiences at other dealerships. The rest of the workers were nice but they were still typical pushy salesmen. Byron was just a great person and really made my decision easy. We went to a few other dealerships in the process of shopping for what we wanted. Our experience with Alex brought us back to Koons. Alex was able to get us the car we wanted for an excellent price. I want to say thanks for all the great service I recieved with my ford Windstar. I bought a 2000 windstar and from the start from sales to service was the best. Cassandra was always so very helpful and concerned with all my vehicle needs. I can't say enough about her and Ed the mechanic that I got to know. For 11 years I brought my windstar to Cassandra and Ed for the minor to the most major service's. Having poeple you can trust that will be honest with you is important because the sterotype for dealerships is they want to rip you off. With Cassandra I never felt like I was being getting something I didn't need. Trust and great service goes a long long way. Thanks More

We visited the dealership for the first time EVER on the morning of 8/2/11. We wanted to check their inventory and prices for a car we wished to buy for our granddaughter to take to college. We had visited morning of 8/2/11. We wanted to check their inventory and prices for a car we wished to buy for our granddaughter to take to college. We had visited other dealers and even looked at other manufacturers prior to the visit to Koon's. After spending some time looking and test driving we talked to the personnel about what we knew the grandkid hoped to have for her car. They searched for a car through their computer and we were told that they could get us a car (that was not in stock) that was a good match to the details we provided. At the time we said we needed the grandkid to test drive some of their in stock vehicles for her feelings about those particular models. We needed to come back after she left work at approximately 7 PM. We were told they would be there for us. After the grandchild left work we drove back to the dealership and to our dismay found that one of the cars we liked was no longer available. But, we were told, there would be a car arriving within a few minutes that would be "suitable" for her to test drive for that particular model. Sure enough, in about 5 minutes, a car pulled up that was the EXACT color that she desired. Ken Levy and Billy Mensch had made a TREMENDOUS effort to get the car that matched our description and have it available for our return about 7 PM. Needless to say, it was the PERFECT car and instantly loved by the granddaughter. Of course, for us, now came the most important part, cost and financing. The wife and I are retired and are NOT counted among the rich fat cats that were mentioned so frequently in the "debt ceiling debate". Long story short, Ken and Billy did everything in their power and we were able to buy the car. With the decision made and the paperwork started the car was turned over to the detailing crew who prepped the car with the utmost attention to details. Within what must be record time, the car was available for us. Now the time was needed to familiarize us with the car's operations. Once again, the effort put forth was considerable. While the kid and wife were getting tutored I met Mike Anderson. He gave me information on my car! He was able to show me things about my car by demonstrating them on a similar model that was in stock. I learned things from him that I don't believe I would ever have discovered on my own. Koon's is now our new favorite car dealership. More

Purchased my 2011 Ford Edge Sport from Koons in Silver Spring and they have been great. From a friendly sales experience provided by Sully, to an exceptional service experience with David. I have always purchased cars from Safford Lincoln. However,Koons purchased the franchise and moved it across the street. I visited Koons to have our Town car serviced. While there I inquired with the manager about the availability of a white Lincoln MKX. He did not have a white MKX but did have a fully loaded white Fusion at the basic MKX price. The manager had Jay R show us the car and my wife and I purchased it on the spot. It was probably one of the easiest deals Jay R ever made. I have been very satisfied with the Fusion especially the mileage. The safety features inculding the backup camera and the blind spot detection apparatus are a plus. The only suggestion I have for Ford is that I could have used a course or workshop on how to use the Sync system. It is a great system, but complicated, it does take to learn. More
I wanted to trade in my old Chevy Lumina (Betsy) which I had for years and loved but I knew it was time for me to get a new car. I was very weary of going to a dealer because I would remember all the negati had for years and loved but I knew it was time for me to get a new car. I was very weary of going to a dealer because I would remember all the negative experiences I had encountered in the past. When I went in to Koons I wasn't expecting to get a car I was just browsing trying to decide whether or not I was ready to make the big jump. I was introduced to JR who from the begininng was so upbeat and friendly I couldn't help but laugh at him. He began working with me asking me questions about what I like and what I was looking for unlike most other car sales reps who would try to tell me what I wanted. We looked at several different cars and he gave me great advice on all the different models I was looking at (the whole time also keeping my 6 year old entertained and answering hundreds of questions from my mom which isn't easy). After looking at a few different cars I finally decided on the one I wanted not thinking that I was going to actually purchase it still though. He ran everything through and before I knew it was giving me all the details and handing me over the keys to my new vehicle... YAY!!! I was so excited I didn't know what to do. JR assisted me in transferring all of my belongings from my old vehicle into my new baby (Bullet) and made sure I was happy and understood everything that we had went over. Over the next few days I thought of a few random questions I forgot to ask and called JR numerous times and everytime I called he was able to answer my question and I never had to wait days for him to return my phone calls. He made my car buying experience one that I will always remember and I'll definitely be going to look for him whenever I decided I'm in need of another upgrade. More
