Pleasantly surprised Koons Falls Church had a car on their website with a good enough price to make us come down from Baltimore to get it. A couple weeks later, I noticed Koons Falls Church had a car on their website with a good enough price to make us come down from Baltimore to get it. A couple weeks later, I noticed some hand-written numbers bleached into the tint on the windshield. I contacted Soufiane, our salesperson, about it. I expected to have to put up a fight about it, but with just pictures as evidence (to save me the drive), he worked it out to have their windshield guy (who was also awesome) come to me to have it replaced. So impressed all around! More
Koons Ford - your best bet for service! I purchased my 2011 Ford Mustang at Koons Ford, Falls Church Virginia & decided to try out their service department. Prior this, I'd had bad experiences at dealerships when it came to service. Well, was I shocked to see a friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional Service Advisor to coordinate my service at Koons Ford! This has been the case for a couple of years. No complaints. My Service Advisor was re-assigned to another location so Mr. Randy Gabler was my Service Advisor this past week. Same outstanding attitude, helpfulness, professionalism. I cannot say enough for Koons Ford Service Department. Everyone is cheerful, helpful, and does their best to make it a positive experience. The waiting room is well-lit, spotless, with a TV that works (!!) and also a computer for Internet use. There is also coffee and the restrooms and ultra clean and well-lit. Try it out! More

Moments later the dealership called - to let me know that car was still in stock and a salesman would be calling me shortly to answer my questions. A few minutes later Osman Aberra called me - answered my questions and when I wanted a breakdown - said give me a little time and I will e-mail that t o you. And sure enough he did - a spreadsheet that gave me the information that really helped and I made an appointment to see the car. . And once I got there - he met me at the door, was ready to show me the car I inquired about. No hassle finding the car or the keys. He explained all the bells whistles and had me try them myself. He synced my phone up. Amazing! In comparison to the other dealer I saw and the other e-mail inquiries I made - they genuinely seemed interested in helping me. The whole team was great but Osman stood out because he went the extra mile over the phone - rather than just saying come in. More

We were still in the research phase of everything but wanted to see what our pricing options would be. We were offered a RIDICULOUSLY high price for the model we looked at. The price was well above MSRP even with incentives/cash back. We wanted to finance through our own lender but the dealer kept telling us they couldn't help with that because we would lose incentives. Despite our insistence that we could get a better rate, they would not investigate it further. Negotiations didn't go well as we tried to negotiate the car to a more reasonable price and ended up leaving. This felt very much like the typical sleazy dealership experience. Nothing was up front, nothing was straight forward, everything felt slimy and wrong. We ended up purchasing a Focus ST with many more features/upgrades than the one we were shown at Koons for a much cheaper price. I would not recommend going to this dealership unless you want to spend more to buy a car than it is worth. More

There are very upfront about the options on the table and that was very helpful in making the decision to buy a car with them. I got a brand-new ford Fiesta hatchback SE model. They were very honest and trustworthy dealers. Likable and friendly. Particularly Osman and Viktor right from the start. They know how to listen to what the customer wants. More

My mother-in-l My mother-in-law is almost 84 years old and decided she wanted a Ford Escape. I did some internet research and visited a local dealer. My mother-in-law drove the vehicle and liked it very much. We got to the deal portion and they fell flat. We left very disappointed. I contacted Koons Ford by phone and was put in touch with Victor. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We arranged to view the car on a Saturday morning (they had to bring from another location). The car was sitting out front with a big red bow. From the time we arrived until we drove away in the new vehicle, Victor was there every step of the way! His customer service was exceptional! Also, Brandi was very courteous and efficient during thanse "paperwork" process. A smooth transaction! More
They are either incompetent or intentionally deceitful I rarely write reviews, and when I do it is usually because the service was so great. Unfortunately, the service was so bad in this case I was compelled to write this review. My fiancé and I had a horrible experience with Koons Falls Church Ford. We were only looking and did not intend to buy, but the price we were offered seemed too good to pass-up. As soon as we decided to buy everything went downhill. Our salesman would make a representation and later we would find out he lied or was just inept. To recount a few: (1) "Come in tonight and we will get the deal done." My fiancé goes in, waits a couple of hours and accomplishes nothing that couldn't have been done over the phone or the computer. (2) "This new $400 'plates' fee is standard with all dealers." The plates fee was not standard with all dealers, it was one of many fees tacked on in an attempt to nickel and dime us back up in price--it cost four times as much as our State charges to register the vehicle and deliver license plates. (3) "I have ran the credit options, you qualify for everything. You just need to come in and sign the papers." She goes in again. After making her wait a couple hours they only have one option with an unreasonably high interest rate. Due to one deception after another we decided not to buy from this dealer and request our $3,000 deposit be returned. Our car salesman never calls us again and the guy in charge of our financing, Joshua Jones, doesn't return our phone calls that day. I call again the next morning and finally get a hold of him. He says the car salesman was supposed to call us the day before to inform us the deposit was refunded. At this point he informs me it will be three to five business days until we receive the refund. We wait five business days from the day before, no refund. Assuming he lied about the day the cash was refunded we wait another day, still nothing. I call and leave a voicemail, no response. I call the next morning and ask for the person in charge of refunds, I get Josh Jones. This is when he informs me that their accounting department never actually processed our refund. At least this time they send me a receipt. Now, I am informed it will be 5-7 days until the refund will show up in our account. This is day one. The failure on the part of Koons to refund our money does not surprise me. This whole process was marked with deceit and ineptitude on the part of Koons, often making it difficult to distinguish which was at play. I would strongly discourage anyone buying from Koons Falls Church Ford. More
Do they even want my business I felt this dealership defines the classic image of car dealers being shady. I was called originally by Joe Bond, a manager, who sounded very upbeat and said he had the exact car I was looking for and that he would email me the info on this car, and then I could set up an appointment. Before the email arrived I had received an additional call from the dealership. When the email finally arrived it contained two cars that were not at all what I was looking for. No mention of the car I was told about. I responded back via email to correct the assistant that of what exactly I was looking for. Soon after another email arrived. This time one of the two cars was close enough. I decided to see the dealer and test drive that car. I arrive at the dealer the same day, and upon entering proceed to wait for someone to help me. No one approached me, no one acknowledge be at all. After approximately 10 minutes I went up to the sales manager that was sitting in his traditional sales perch, and at this point called Joe. Joe greeted me enthusiastically, and then passed me off to his sales man Rezaul. I don't know if it was my shorts, having two kids with me, or what but he had zero enthusiasm. We quickly talked about what I was looking for, took my car keys for his re-sale manager to price my trade, and he went to check inventory, and then we went to find the car. After 10 minutes of looking I decided that I better just drive something. A bit odd that here I chatted back and forth earlier about a specific car and then its gone. We go for a test drive and he was fine in the car. Rezaul spoke very very softly, and I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. We then sat down so we could talk numbers. We talked about the car specifics, and then he worked to price my trade which was based on Autotrader. I had already received an offer from CarMax so I knew my car was worth $6,500, right at the KBB fair condition price. My company is eligible for the X-Plan so I thought this would be easy. Rezaul went off to get the price. X-Pan so it should be quick, 20 minutes later he returned with a VERY high price in a box on a sheet that was listed as X-Plan price. Now according to Ford Partner Program website, I should have received a true copy of the invoice. "The dealer is required to provide you with a true copy of the factory invoice showing the Partner Recognition price on the line labeled X-Plan. You should also receive a complete and signed AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement showing each item and its price." I did NOT receive any copy. I was simply flashed a price. This was higher than I was thinking the car would be based on my previous Internet research on sites like TrueCar.com. When asking about the rebates being offered he said I wasn't eligible, NOT 100% TRUE, because of the special pricing we could probably get a better deal not going the X-Plan route, ok I thought let's discuss it. According to Ford Partner Program website: "for most. Partner Recognition participants are eligible for most public incentives. There are some offers that are not compatible with this offer. Your dealer can best determine which incentives you are eligible for." When I told Rezaul the price was more than what I wanted to spend he started with the typical "What will it take to get you to buy the car today?" To which I truthfully replied I had to let my first see and drive the car. He said no problem I could always put a deposit down on the car, and come back, to which I said NO WAY. I am not paying for something I am necessarily buying. We talked some more about the price of my trade, how moving out of the X-Plan could actually make it cheaper. I explain to him that I didn't want him to go through the effort because we were so far off. He wanted to try to get a better price, so he disappeared again for 15 minutes. Mind you I don't have my keys so I can't leave if I wanted to. Typical car dealer tactic. We went back and forth offering me more for my trade, up from the $4,800 initial offer, and brought the car down a little more, but never really got close to what I could buy the SAME car at another dealership for $27,684. The best pricing the could come up with was high $28k, but I wouldn't be able to get financing through them. I frequently told Rezaul and his manager that I didn't want them to keep looking at this because I wouldn't buy the car today, and certainly NEVER from them. Questionable things: 1) Did the misrepresent their inventory to get through the door 2) Did I really see the X-Plan pricing 3) Was I really not eligible for and promotions, special offers or financing? 4) What was the real price they would sell me the car I wanted and not the demo that I agreed to drive just so I could take a test drive More

But in the meantime i was doing research on cars and dealerships. And in the past i have had horrible car buying experiences and i said that this probably would not be any different. But i cannot believe it i was wrong and i purchased a car a 2010 ford fusion Se pre owned and pre certified that i saw on the internet. I woke up yesterday morning and said i am buying me a car today. So i tele the dealership ans i spoke 2 Osman Aberra and made a appointment 2 come in yesterday. I saw the car test drove it with Nate Mehretab who was helping me because Osman was on a run. He was so professional and helpful and not trying 2 pressure u 2 buy a car. Because most salesman will try 2 sell u a car by any means and i really liked that. And i am very happy with my car choice and how i was treated and i would definitely purchase a car from them again in the future. More
