This was worst car buying experience I've ever had buying a new car. They lied about everything from the start to include: actually having the car, where the car was, the price we agreed upon on the car. And a new car. They lied about everything from the start to include: actually having the car, where the car was, the price we agreed upon on the car. And the bank actually financing the car. These people were the absolute lyingest bunch. I complained to the manager and was told "My trade would be ready for pick up of I was uncomfortable doing business with them"! My advice is to pay more to deal with a more customer service oriented company. Buyer beware, do noy buy one from here unless you like to be lied to More
Never, ever get tired from Koons Ford ... or Ford for that matter - almost $75 per tire overcharge would have occurred had I not done the legwork to price-match myself. I mean, why would your service re that matter - almost $75 per tire overcharge would have occurred had I not done the legwork to price-match myself. I mean, why would your service representative not try to help the customer and save them $150 on 2 tires ... it’s not like they are being paid in commission for what a customer overpays, right? They charged $35 for supplies and $69 in labor for 2 tires - ridiculous. They do not offer any road hazard whatsoever and I didn’t find out until after I had the tires put on and installed for $786. “Hello Koons - it’s 2021 ... you’re Ford and can’t compete with any other tire shop out there ... and don’t bother to let the customer know until after everything is done.” Had I known, I’d have gone to a Tires Plus, Discount Tire, or similar reputable tire shop where road hazard is a standard offering ... Ford doesn’t even offer the service ... none whatsoever. I expect better in being upfront on what is involved for service, competitively pricing your services, and offering what any other reputable tire replacement company in the marketplace does ... road hazard. You have lost my business forever. More
What an experience today. I started this terrible journey on Tuesday, walked into the dealership looking for a Ford Expedition, I worked with Navid. Saw one, stock number 0FA10686 (has 65 miles on i journey on Tuesday, walked into the dealership looking for a Ford Expedition, I worked with Navid. Saw one, stock number 0FA10686 (has 65 miles on it). We started off with a bunch of extra fees (destination charge which is already in the msrp, some care package, etc) and what they called market value which was above msrp. Finally worked the number down to $57000 plus tax, tags, and dealer fees ($899) after working with 2 managers (mike and someone else), the final out the door price was $60,524 with everything included. I didn't take the deal that night. Navid called me for the next 3 days and I asked him to talk to the GM and if he can do $60,000 out the door, I'll come in, in the end he said they couldn't so today, after we confirmed and I asked him to give it one more go with the GM Ali, he said $60,524 was the best that they could do. I said okay, I'll do the deal, this was at 2pm, told him I'll come at 6pm. I get dropped off by my wife after a 25 minute drive from Fairfax, I sit down, I let him know I brought my tags, and I was expecting just paperwork. We start and Navid has me filling out the application, I completed the application and now I'm just waiting. Then the General Sales Manager (I believe it was Fareed, he barely introduced himself) come to me with Navid and starts off with, have you seen a similar advertised price? I don't know where he's going but basically, he now shows up with a new price sheet that about $1200 or $1300 higher than what I confirmed on the phone with Navid. Needless to say, I left. So here's the problem. 1. Don't waste people's time. I don't know who's at fault but when you're asking customers to come in, don't waste their time. It wasn't me walking in looking for a deal from 3 days ago. Navid confirmed the deal that day and that's why I came. 2. As a General Sales Manager (Fareed). Show more respect to customers. If you're price can't be honored, at least come and be human about it and apologize that I just drove 25 minutes to get there based on your salesperson's word. You probably assumed that I was in there out of the blue looking for a deal that was made 3 days ago. No it was Navid that brought me in after I took his word the deal was still good that day. I also said to Fareed that I don't appreciate my time being wasted and his response was he's busy too. He could barely look at me while I was talking to him when I asked if the application I was asked to fill out for no reason will be a hard pull on my credit report. 3. Navid had me fill out an application which puts a pull on my credit for no reason. If you're not going to honor your word, don't waste my time, and don't make me fill out an application that has an impact on my credit score. What can I say, it was a terrible experience, I hope people see this so that they know what type of a sales and management team they have at Koons so that they don't fall into their misleading practices. Beware folks, you earn your money honestly, don't let it get taken by disrespectful and unethical people. More
These guys do not seem not upfront and above board. I went in to buy a used car based on an internet price. After a test drive, I decided to buy the car, then they added ~$6000 to the internet price of went in to buy a used car based on an internet price. After a test drive, I decided to buy the car, then they added ~$6000 to the internet price of the car to get to the "out the door price" I asked for the keys to my car so I could leave. That's when a sales manager came along and kept me from walking out by knocking some "optional" charges ($2000 of it was taxes and stuff but they kept wouldn't budge on a $899 service fee). Why do they add all those optional charges to begin with? Presumably because some people actually pay what they're told to pay. I also agreed to sell them my old car for $12000 cash. I was paying more than I expected but it was getting late and it wasn't a bad deal. Then after I was sitting around for a while waiting for them to get all the paperwork ready, another manager told me that they couldn't pay me what they promised on my car unless I applied it as a trade in against the car I was buying. I specifically asked if they could cut me a check for my car so I could take out a larger note on the car I was buying and the sales manager specifically told me yes. Then the general manager got involved. He explained it cost them more to buy a car than to take a car as a trade in and he lost a "trade in credit" by paying cash so they had to reduce the offer. I asked for my keys and left.. I just got a text as I am writing this review and the general manager would like to do the original deal we cut before he got involved. I shudder to guess what they would try to pull on me when I got into financing. If you MUST deal with them because their internet deals seem so juicy (I did too until they added $1800 here and $900 there, etc.), then get an "out the door" price before you go and get them to send it to you in writing before you step on the lot. Be ready to leave as soon as they engage in shenanigans. Don't believe anything these guys say until you get it in writing. True for a lot of situations, I feel it is especially true here. I suppose if you are one of those people that overpay, they will treat you very well. xxxx, I would treat you well too. It really seems like they have layers of sales and management with each layer intended to squeeze more and more money out of you. More

Arrogant. Tried selling $2.9k "repairs" to pass inspection without detailed estimate. Price $3k+ over advertised. Then called back with a lower offer after we left. Why not make that offer while a inspection without detailed estimate. Price $3k+ over advertised. Then called back with a lower offer after we left. Why not make that offer while at the dealer. Obviously trying to take advantage of the customer. No transparency. Argumentative. When someone continually says "I understand " but it's obvious they are not listening. Get some sales training and customer advocacy guidance. No trust. Dont go here. More
