I communicated to Koons the type of vehicle I was looking for including color and options. Philo Gentles (sales consultant) promptly sent me pricing and Desiree Taylor followed up via phone in a very courteous manner. Philo diligently worked with me to narrow down the exact vehicle I was interested in. I was able to work very easily with Philo on pricing as well. I had another dealer offer me a lower price and Philo beat that price by $50.00. The other dealership also had very poor dealer ratings on dealerrater.com. I verbally committed to Philo that I would purchase my vehicle through Koons Ford of Baltimore and went to the dealership that afternoon to fill out the paper work. The car I purchased had to be delivered the next day to the Koons lot. Upon pickup of the vehicle the next day, I noticed there were a few minor scratches. The General Manager (Dennis Koulatsos) told me he would correct these issues. In my discussions with Dennis, you could tell his philosophy is to make customers for life. He is not in the business to sell you one car at the highest profit margin he can make. He wants the buying experience to be enjoyable so customers will recommend his dealership and to get repeat business from customers like me. Lastly, I am the type of person who rarely fills out customer reviews. However, I felt that Koons Ford went out of their way to help me out during my buying process, that I should return the favor to them. I highly recommend Koons Ford. More
On 8/10/11 we negotiated and they made an offer to buy a car and trade in a car on a Wednesday. We did not take the offer that night as the car was not yet in and they had no 2012 fiestas to test drive, an car and trade in a car on a Wednesday. We explained this apprehension to Russell, the sales manager. They did say that the offer on the trade in was good for that day only. Tom did tell us that the price on the car was still good and to "keep your AAA car buying service certificate" for when we come back. He asked if we could come quickly when the car arrived since the fiestas are selling very fast. The car came in the next day and we tried to make an appointment to come in and buy it. We were ignored on Thursday (phone and e-mail). Late Friday we received an email from Dennis, explaining that the offer was off the table and we could pay full MSRP ($700 more than negotiated). He also informed us that our trade in was now $300 less. He stated that they removed themselves from the AAA buying service and would no longer honor the certificate (one day later). They seem to not want to sell us this car and according to their website, they still had it in stock for a couple weeks after. I have bought 3 cars from koons dealers in the past and had good experiences. In the end we ordered the exact car we wanted elsewhere for the same price and got more for our trade in. More

I have purchased two cars from Koons over the past year. A 2011 Shelby GT500 and 2012 Focus Titanium. I have received nothing but first class treatment during both purchases. Normally you hear about games A 2011 Shelby GT500 and 2012 Focus Titanium. I have received nothing but first class treatment during both purchases. Normally you hear about games that large dealers play but not at Koons. They worked with me on making the deal work with the price I wanted to pay. Gave me excellent value for my trade. My Focus had a few issues being a first year model and so far they've addressed everyone without issue. Dennis and Tom have been truly first class and I look forward to buying my 2013 GT500 from them. Mustang guys, Tom is the guy you want to see! More

I just purchased my new Fiesta from Koons, and I could not have been happier with the experience. My initial dealings with Koons were done entirely through email. After explaining to Dennis that I was working within a tight budget, he explained that it would be difficult to find a new car on the lot within my price range because of add-ons through the various packages. However, I could order a car through Ford with only the features I wanted. Dennis gave me a very comprehensive cost breakdown of my new car, including taxes titles and fees. When I decided to order my car through Koons, Dennis placed the order without me having to put a deposit down. What I found most refreshing about the process was how upfront Dennis was with the pricing. What he said I would pay was what I paid - there were no hidden fees or last minute surprises. Dennis and Sam kept me updated throughout the process of my car being built. My Fiesta came in this past weekend and I love it! Dennis, Sam and Tom (whom I dealt with for the paperwork) were all professional and courteous. They made the process so easy!
