Fortunately Last and Final Review of Dysfunctional Business So.. I've reviewed this place before- I'm a Surgeon, had a broken Bluetooth, it spirals into more issues- where ultimately my entire display was br So.. I've reviewed this place before- I'm a Surgeon, had a broken Bluetooth, it spirals into more issues- where ultimately my entire display was broken: so radio/serius radio/bluetooth/navigation/seat controls- all not working. Brought into the dealership after getting twice cancelled the day before because they were overbooked. No big deal, I just brought it a 3d time. They keep it overnight, and told me "it needs a part that's on national back order. It'll be at least a month. Don't call us, we'll call you when it comes in." Nothing more from them. Supposedly it's an APIM processor, I had to call multiple times to find out what the part is. In the meantime, my car is borderline not drivable- display and all those functions above not working. And I'm going to go out on a limb here- they were never going to call me. I guess I could've waited a month with no bluetooth/radio/seat controls/nav and hoped they called me out of the blue, but we all know they probably never would have. And it's totally unfair to have a customer go home with a broken vehicle and have them wait "1 month at least" with no repair date in sight. By the way, I called other Ford dealerships (4 of them), and all 4 told me they could get the APIM processor overnight if needed- of course this dealership just couldn't get it off backorder for over 1 month. Don't know why. Unfortunately as more and more functions on the screen, little by little, I called to speak to a manger, to see if/when the part would come in. I was polite every time. Just wanted to know a timeline, ask why they can't get the processor. They just refuse to return calls, they say they'll call in 1 hour, they never call back. The most arrogant and nasty folks you'll ever want to deal with- and remember, I'm waiting 1 month at least for them to supposedly call me. Finally the guy Dennis Koulatsos (who many people have written reviews about his attitude and negative personality) calls me, and says take the car somewhere else, they don't want to work with me any more. This "manager" calls and tells me "it's not a good fit, bring it somewhere else." The guy doesn't have a ton of social skills, but hey- he's not high on the food chain of life, I'm guessing never went to college, pathetic existence. So I had no choice, I had to get rid of my truck, it would've never worked again, they'd never call me back, they'd never fix the APIM processor. I was waiting at least a month for a call I'd never get. So I had to sell it, this service shop forced me to sell my truck because they'd never fix it. Silver lining? I told it back to a Koon's dealership, who didn't realize the truck was terminally broken. So they have to deal with their truck that Dennis Koulatsos doesn't want to fix. Stay away from this place. Any dispute of this story that they respond with is pure rubbish, there is no other side to the story. More

Koons Ford - Well worth a 5 hr drive from PA! One online request and Ben Startt got back to me with the information I requested, just answers no sales talk. Drove down in my 12 yr old Explorer and drove home in a new 2019 Super Duty. Ben made the entire process easy and enjoyable, no sales pitches just answers to my questions and help picking out what I wanted. Chris Brown was equally helpful setting up financing and quickly completing the paperwork to get me home with my new truck. Best dealership experience I ever had. I used to dread going to a car dealer and Koons Ford changed that for me! More

Dennis Koulatsos I am in shock that this location is still operating with an employee like Dennis Koulatsos. Questionable Financing Practices I am interested in a new vehicle on their lot. Their offer included $10k for my trade in, KBB and NADA values it at $12k. This is a reasonable offer considering they only had pictures to go by at this point. Since I'm not a resident of Maryland, they claimed the sales tax, title and registration fees must be collected by Koons, for the state where I reside. Title and Registration fees are $106 in my state, Koons was wanting to "collect" over $300. Sales Tax is to be calculated after the trade in value is applied which would be $2054.57, and not before the trade in value is applied, $2754.57. More

I went home Monday night thinking that the deal wasn't going to work for me at this time; but Steve, Tim, and Derek didn't give up trying for me. Not only did they get the payment where I wanted, but a special thanks to Tom Snyder for going the extra mile to get it lower than expected. I felt like it was a challenge for him to get the best payment possible. Also a special thanks to Khalid Hassouneh for filling in for Steve on his day off. Excellent customer service all around. More

HORRIBLE!!! On 11/14/18, I had taken my 2016 Ford Mustang to Koons Ford Collison Center at 6970 Security Boulevard in Baltimore, MD. I initially brought my vehicl On 11/14/18, I had taken my 2016 Ford Mustang to Koons Ford Collison Center at 6970 Security Boulevard in Baltimore, MD. I initially brought my vehicle in for service because I could not open the trunk of the car. Jeff Klass was the service representative that helped me upon my arrival at the Collision Center. Subsequently, Jeff took the vehicle to diagnose the problem. I waited approximately a half an hour until he came back and told me that he was not able to get into the trunk. He told me that he was not sure what the problem was and to come back the next day when he had more staff available. However, Jeff told me that the repair would start at a couple hundred dollars and up. I agreed to bring the vehicle back the next day and then I left. Subsequent to leaving the Collison Center I arrived at my job and I noticed a dent on the top of the trunk which was not there prior to taking it to the Collison Center. I called the Collison Center and spoke with Jeff and I told him about the trunk. He said that the dent was on the vehicle prior to him working on it. I went back to the Collision center later that evening and spoke with his supervisor who said Jeff informed her that he had spoken to me about the situation. The supervisor insisted that I wrongfully accused the Collison Center of denting the vehicle. She said that there was a 4-way camera that Jeff observed with the car having a dent prior to him working on it. The supervisor said that she would review the 4-way camera and she would let me view it as well. Unfortunately, I have yet to be contacted in reference to viewing the 4-way camera. I am disappointed because I initially went to Ford Collison Center in hopes of my trunk being fixed, but instead, I incurred greater problems in return. Customer service in return made me feel like I was dishonest, which I felt very offended by. To resolve the problem, I would like Ford to compensate me for the damages done to the trunk of the vehicle. More

Including a undercoating, replacing the rear bumper, and fixing some findings from the safety inspection that could have easily been overseen. They also made sure the truck was ready and reliable for a 5 hour round trip to a funeral for a dear friend who helped me find the truck. I highly recommend these guys for anyone buying a vehicle new or used. More
