I received a letter for a recall. I made an appointment--added a 10,000 mile check up, and dropped the car off the night before. I was told it would be done by 12. I got a call the next morning that it was done at 1130. I picked it up at 1 --took me 5 minutes. Let me tell you EVERY TIME i bring the car in--Koons handles my service PERFECTLY. It is the main reason I personally have bought over 40 new and used cars and trucks from them. Dennis Koulatsos and his staff are hands down the best. THEY REALLY CARE and their actions back it up. I was ready to drive almost 2 hours to work with this dealership, and thank God I didn't. They tried to push a more expensive truck than the one I originally submitted all of my financials for, tried to dealership, and thank God I didn't. They tried to push a more expensive truck than the one I originally submitted all of my financials for, tried to low ball me on my trade, then made it seem like they bent over backwards to get me a half decent APR, when in fact, they marked it up a point so they could make back end money. I learned that little bit of information when I went to a different dealership and they pulled up my approval with Ford Credit. This is the way Koons treats Veterans. Don't shop here. More

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever!!!Never go here DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I purchase my first car on 07/02/2020(2017 Nissan Pathfinder) for my 30th birthday, 7 days after purc DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I purchase my first car on 07/02/2020(2017 Nissan Pathfinder) for my 30th birthday, 7 days after purchase my car was back at this dealership because thick white smoke was coming from the muffler. I was told nothing was wrong. I was then informed that if i brought it back the next day I would get rental, welp that was a lie because service department told me they were closed even though I was inside!! Jeff ended up allowing me to use a car from the lot while my car stayed for service the next day. From then on I was switched out 3 times because they needed to sell the cars I was using to get around. 2 weeks go by still no word about my car and at this point I am calling everyday. At this point Im fed up and want my car back finally on the 15th day I was told the engine went up and that my sales associate will be calling me. Now I am above myself!!! My sales rep Jimmy called me and briefly said "we have to put you in a new car but Im off today we can look tomorrow"...Excuse me no a need a different sales rep today I have already been inconvenienced. I went to the dealership after work which i forgot to mention i left work 3 times early to either switch cars or speak to someone directly which caused me to loose out on money. I went to dealership extremely frustrated I was given options to put a used replacement battery in the Nissan or they could put me in another vehicle which is the option I chose. Here's what I was told I was told that they would buy me out of the pathfinder at what it cost through capital one 23,000, I would then be placed in a Acura MDX for cheaper than what they would sell it for...All warranties that I already had on the Nissan would transfer to my Acura, ok cool. I was also told by Chris Brown in finance with the present of my mechanic (father) that all paper work and check for pathfinder would be sent over the next day and that at this point moving forward I would not have any issues with koons..BULLLL xxxx... today is now Aug 14th and guess who have not sent payment and receipts over to my finance company letting them know that the pathfinder has been paid off through them...KOONS xxxxING FORD ON SECURITY BLVD!!! I have been calling everyday to confirm it has been sent, I spoke to Chris Brown who confirmed twice that it was sent electronically, I spoke to the folks in title who stated that the check was not sent and that the paper work was still on Chris desk since July 28th... I called again and spoke to chris who told me he was sorry and would have a definite answer and would call me back which he did and said it was sent. Yesterday 08/13/2020 nothing was sent to capital one nothing at all, so I called title department back and spoke to a young lady who confirmed it was sent electronically on Mon, Aug 10th and it only too 3 days to post to capital one account...Here it is 5 days later and nothing has been received and what make it worse is my first car payment for the pathfinder would have been 08/16/2020 and capital one is still expecting their payment and at this point who knows when Koons will actually send the payoff!!! I now have 2 cars listed on my credit, I cant purchase a house like I had intended because with these two loans it put my debt to income over the limit!!! This place has ruined my life and outlook on car dealerships!!xxxx EVERYONE AT KOONS EXCEPT JEFF, because he went above and beyond what he was suppose to do!!!! Was looking into a 2018 Raptor that has been sitting collecting dust at that dealership for almost a year without any buyers. Yea, only a crazy guy like me would want to buy a 70K truck in these times lol. You think the dealer would show some interest and try and win my business right? lol. Wrong!! Tried contacting the dealership a couple of weeks ago, after a few tries finally this guy calls me back. I tell him i am interested and ask him to send me his email. No response haha. I finally decide to call back to see if i can get another salesman. Go to see i get this guy who claims he only deals in 'used cars' at the dealership and is extremely rude. I liked the truck so like a fool i decide to call back a third time. Get the same guy who i spoke to the first time. All in all, finally fix an appointment and go in to check out the truck. They threw out some numbers, give me a value on my trade in. I tell them i need a couple of days to think and do some research myself. You would think that out of courtesy a salesman/ sales manager would call you the next day or so to check in right? This is customer service 101. But nothing! To my amazement i did some research and found out via KBB these guys offered me almost 8000 less on my trade in??!? I was a little surprised as Koons so very proudly states on their website they will offer 125% of the KBB value!! Mind you in had a mint super high end SUV still under factory warranty so i was a little more upset. Me being stupid and still wanting that truck i decide to call the dealer a THIRD time to see if we can work something out. Call up and tell the salesman i want to come in to discuss. He tells me- 'Listen i want to save you a trip, we are fixed on our price blah blah blah' , basically saying dont bother coming in haha.I tell him about the KBB value discrepancy. He says the number might be low and he can talk to the manager and see if he can increase it a 'little'. He says i will talk to the manager and 'call you back'. i wait all evening and nothing!! Koons and FORD leaves me no option but to call this out. I would leave NEGATIVE stars if i had this option. Absolutely PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE from the salesman and New car sales manager! Very disappointed. Here i am in these pandemic times offering the dealership to buy a truck off their lot that mind you has been sitting collecting dust for almost a year and trade in a good SUV that will sell way faster lol. Stupid me! I mean come on, who goes into a dealership and pays what the dealership asks for?? and that too in these low economic and pandemic times?? These guys should have gone all out to sell me the truck!! I think what frustrated me was the poor customer service. Absolutely amateurish salesmanship from the salesman and a very over smart sales manager. That truck is going to sit there rusting, unless a crazy guy likes me comes by and is stupid enough to buy such an expensive truck. If dealership act like this, it wont be long enough till they will need another bailout! Very bad FORD and KOONS. I hope the General Manager and District manger reads this review. Will be sharing this review on other sites as well and FORD directly. I would call out the names of those sales people (they know who they are), and i actually might soon. Its the dealer's loss here #KOONS #FORD #FORDCUSTOMERSERVICE ps- i know whats going to happen next- the customer relationships person will respond to this message with some scripted reply apologizing, yada yada and will end with saying- call me at ___ to discuss.
