Was really excited to buy a new truck. They ruined the experience. I work with numbers, that's what I do, but how many people come through this dealer's doors who don't? The finance manager outright lied about the interest rate and/or corresponding price. When given numerous opportunities to correct the numbers - as I tried to let him save face and say he plugged them in wrong or whatever - the manager refused and insisted the rate was 4% for $720/month on $43,000. Tired of him insisting it was 4% on $43,000, I asked to use his PC and pull up an online finance calculator. He relented after originally saying no. Once I plugged in the exact numbers he gave me, the monthly rate was actually what I knew it would be at $673/675 month. When I showed him that these numbers were different than what he gave me, he then lied again and said it was a mortgage calculator and they do finance numbers differently than car dealerships. Yeah, they do them honestly at our mortgage company, maybe that's the difference he was referring to. Amortizing a loan is the same whether it's a mortgage loan or car loan. It's finance and math not some secret industry way to compute loans. Unfortunately, when a different manager, maybe the sales manager, I don't know, came over to attempt to appease me, he never corrected the error. When I asked to have the sheet of paper to show the new manager what was presented to me, the finance manager refused to give it to me. Did the other manager ask his fellow employee for the paper? No. He allowed the lie to stand. While the second manager tried to sort of appease me, he most likely sensed I was not going to buy a car from them at this point, and gave up. They not only lost a customer at Annapolis, but Koons lost us forever. We will never shop at Koons ever and we will tell anyone who asks not to shop there either. But buyers beware of the tactics used here. Not only did the finance manager misrepresent and then lie about the rate/price he was quoting me, they also put the "destination or freight fee" on twice. Check out the MSRP sticker and see for yourself! There is a freight fee/destination fee in that price and then they add it AGAIN on the form they show you. They may take it off to show "good faith" but it was already built into the price. Plus, they added "optional" fees, which you simply need to be aware of and remove before settling on the price. I'll stay away from all Koons dealerships from now on. The one in Westminster used the EXACT same sheet with the same freight fee and optional fee. More

Horrible pick up car after servoce was dirty tire was flat Always a bad experience. Today was the worst. They have my car for 2 days, and tell me it ready for pick up. My wife drove me and we look at new cars with a salesmen. She leaves I go to pickup up my car. Not even washed. $1700 repair and not even a wash. Go around to the other side of the car, where they had replaced the bearing the tire was dead flat (folded flat). Service was closed, no air hoses could reach the car. I had an air pump. Then filled with air. 2 days later the tire still holds air. They can't even remount a tire correctly. Call the manager 2 days in arrow--always busy does not return my call. Next time I am going out of state for Toyota Serivce. This place is a joke. More
