Daughter wanted a black on black Subaru legacy. Looked for months. On her 18th birthday, I found one at Koons which was 2 hours away. Didn’t get there until 5:30pm. Josh knew we were coming so he had a quick detail completed. Daughter and I both test drove the vehicle. Josh pointed out all the features. Car was beautiful inside. I checked under the car, under the hood, in the trunk. It appeared to be a well kept car. I was told a MD inspection was completed and car was looked over my mechanic. We finally went to financing which took forever for the guy to greet us. I was ready to walk out. He finally came out when it was an hour before closing. Paperwork was a bit rushed but he did explain everything and answer my questions. WiFi was horrible. Every paper was digital and the tablet kept losing connection so we had to start over at least 3 times. The last time was at closing time and he said we would need to come back. I told him I wanted my deposit back and would not be returning. He contacted IT and we were connected again. We hurried through and drove the car home. Spent the next 3 days detailing and waxing. During this time I noticed the windshield had several very small pencil point chips. I’m sure it would pass inspection so I didn’t say anything. It was 4 chips at $100 each or a new windshield for $450. I’m putting a new windshield in for my daughter. Secondly, the passenger rear window does not operate. Upon investigation, the window regulator is bad. Another $275 for me to install. I did call Josh about this issue. I never would have thought I needed to check if all the windows rolled down. He said he would contact me the following day. It’s now been 4 days and I only hear crickets. My advice is to plan on spending an entire day there. Take your time and inspect ever since inch and every single detail before sitting down. I’m guessing a “mechanic” only checks under the car because that’s all the warranty covers. They do not check inside the vehicle because if they find something, it’s on their dime. They hope you don’t find it until the paperwork is signed which reminds me that will take several hours also. There are many salesmen just standing around so if you need to bother one for the entire day, there are plenty doing nothing to help other customers. -Scott from New Oxford, PA More
I bought a vehicle online and carfax stated no damage as well as the dealership. One tire had a lump in it and the other 3 tires were bare minimum standards. The passenger front bumper was damaged in which well as the dealership. One tire had a lump in it and the other 3 tires were bare minimum standards. The passenger front bumper was damaged in which the transporter made the salesman aware of it but the salesman never made me aware of it. The pictures/video of the vehicle, did not disclose the damage. When I spoke to the dealership, I was told it was my fault for not seeing the damage in their video/ pictures of the vehicle. They have taken no responsibility for selling me a car that is damaged. More

I attempted to negotiate a deal for a used car, which I am certain was marked with 4k. The used sales manager kindly offered me a counter-offer of $200. I respectfully informed him that I could purchase th am certain was marked with 4k. The used sales manager kindly offered me a counter-offer of $200. I respectfully informed him that I could purchase the same brand new 2026 model for an extra 3k, and he respectfully declined to engage in business with me. This is a great method of dissuading a customer from unnecessary nonsense and effortless negotiations by Koons. More
I have the purchased several vehicles through the Koons franchise. My last straighten, I was owed the remaining balance of my extended warranty that was purchased at the dealer, which I should have bought franchise. My last straighten, I was owed the remaining balance of my extended warranty that was purchased at the dealer, which I should have bought elsewhere. I never received that refund. Now, for this experience, I found a nice truck that was on the lot. I considered trading in my most recent vehicle that was purchased from Koons, nine months ago. Their “appraisal value” they gave me was 50% of what I paid. Through the years, there has been a clear decline of leadership, salesmanship, and then increase in sleazy dealer tactics. Do yourself a favor. Find another dealer have your financing from a local bank or credit union before you go there they will run your credit report 10+ times to drive your score down and then offer a ridiculous rate.. saying your credit score is low. Stay firm on what you want to pay put the door (all included taxes).. don’t let them pack on “add-ons“ I do nothing but put ridiculous fees in their pocket. If you do have a trade, negotiate that totally separately have your own financing approved before you even stepped into this place, if you even think about going to this place again, I’d go elsewhere More

The cars are Overprices and I got one that had been in serious wreck with a different door than the rest of the car. Sales team told me too bad when I returned 3 weeks later to show them. Gaslighting is serious wreck with a different door than the rest of the car. Sales team told me too bad when I returned 3 weeks later to show them. Gaslighting is their best quality. If I were a male probably different experience. I will continue to warn female shoppers to avoid this place. I got a faulty vehicle that cost over 30 grand used. I was taken advantage of and I am going to the state about this dealership with all the money I have had to put out in less than 12 months. More
