I went to purchase a Camry 2026 and this dealership had 2 in stock that I liked. Upon reaching out I was helped by a gentleman who did a great job selling me a car via text! The next day I went to complet in stock that I liked. Upon reaching out I was helped by a gentleman who did a great job selling me a car via text! The next day I went to complete the transaction and was met with nothing but greed and unprofessionalism. Salesman was wearing a suede jump suit, the finance officer tried to squeeze every dime possible from me even method acting at one point. I went to sign and was transferred to another person and the “system had a glitch” so I had to go back and resign! I refused the extra insurance and gap insurance only to see it on the old deal so I argued for 3 days over the price with the finance officer! The car wasn’t washed or detailed upon delivery, the mats are from a different car, and I didn’t get the net for the trunk! Paid a premium for horrible service and a base car. I expected better. I had a highly unprofessional experience at Koons Toyota Annapolis while trying to buy a vehicle. I worked with a salesman named Jose, who proved to be incredibly impatient and heavily focused on rushing th Annapolis while trying to buy a vehicle. I worked with a salesman named Jose, who proved to be incredibly impatient and heavily focused on rushing the sale rather than helping the customer. Even though I made it completely clear that I was already pre-approved and financing the vehicle through my own credit union, Jose aggressively tried to force me into running my credit through the dealership anyway. He falsely claimed that a credit check was mandatory for "EVERY customer," which is completely untrue given that my outside financing was already secured. Furthermore, the dealership lacked basic transparency regarding the condition of the vehicle. They kept claiming the car "passed inspection," yet they completely refused to show me the actual vehicle inspection report. The car had over 80,000 miles on it and was still running on its original 12V auxiliary battery, which is at the very end of its natural lifespan. When I asked to have this safety concern resolved by putting a new battery in the car before delivery, Jose was extremely resistant to putting that agreement in writing on the Buyer's Order. The lack of information did not stop there. I noticed that the front left tire looked significantly worn out, but when I asked for the tire maintenance history—specifically when they were last replaced or rotated—the dealership completely failed to provide me with this basic information.Instead of working honestly, they dragged out communication, played high-pressure games, and sold the vehicle out from under me. Be very careful if you shop at Koons Toyota Annapolis, and I strongly recommend avoiding Jose, and this dealership, if you value honesty and a hassle-free experience. More
