Kocourek Wausau Imports

This has been a terrible experience from sale to service. I don't think the Elantra is such a bad car, but certainly not all it was advertised to be. I wish now I would have followed my gut feeling and jus I don't think the Elantra is such a bad car, but certainly not all it was advertised to be. I wish now I would have followed my gut feeling and just walked out before closing the deal. The sales person told us one price and then changed it on the paperwork apparently hoping we wouldn't catch it. When we did catch it they said they never said that. He was also quite rude. Should have walked, but really needed to buy a car soon and liked the specs on this one. We have had a few different seemingly unrelated mechanical issues, two of which have left us stranded a few times and once made us use our other car. I brought the car to the service dept. and they said these problems were related and a common problem related to a defective brake switch, so they set up an appointment. Great! I love simple solutions. When I brought the car in they said there were no error codes and thus weren't going to do anything. What? But YOU said bring it in, we know what to do. So what am I suppose to do now? Just put up with getting stranded? Go to the next closest dealer an hour away? I've had two other similar experiences here and now wish I could go back and undo the whole thing. Oh, and the best part was when I described the problems I was having to one employee, they said, "You should have bought a Kia". Really? Did I just hear that? I did explain some of these issues with Hyundai in a survey they sent out. I'm disappointed that they haven't responded to these concerns either. Seems like "customer satisfaction" is nothing more than words these days. I'm actually not interested in your response at this point. You would just be turning it into your own P.R. More

Adam Byers is a great salesman. He takes the time to inform you about the vehicle and the overall procedure of purchasing a vehicle. From my first call to Lance until I drove off the lot with our new Jetta, everything was a very good experience. I never felt pressured and was very happy that I was able to just give my price range and with our new Jetta, everything was a very good experience. They were able to find the care we wanted finalize the deal in less than a week and there were no surprises at closing time. They were very thorough when it came to explaining everything from the lease to the functions on the car. Since the car is for my wife, I really wish she could have been there to meet the Kocourek family and experience the same helpful and friendly atmosphere that I did. I look forward to the 90 day check up so I can get her up there to meet everyone. He easily answered all of my questions and offered many options. He also took as much time as I needed to understand everything about the vehicle I chose. Mike Walik helped me understand the financial options available to me, again, never making me feel pressured to make an on-the-spot decision. I also had the pleasure of meeting with Greg Jirschele who very kindly, professionally and patiently explained all of paperwork, financial choices and protection that was available to me, again never making me feel pressured. Taking as much time as I needed to understand, easily and patiently answering all of my questions. This being my first NEW vehicle, I had much to absorb and decide. I really appreciated his perfectionism and efficiency. I especially appreciated that all of the paperwork I received with my beautifully presented new vehicle, was all perfectly and evenly folded to fit perfectly in the envelope that will remain in my glove compartment, for the life of my vehicle. The dealership itself looks very cool and steely but that is the exact opposite of the people inside. The moment I walked toward the doors someone came and opened them for me. I had a car in mind and he made sure that it was actually the car I wanted. He let me test-drive it twice and answered all my questions. We came to "just" look at the Jetta. Impressed with the vehicle we talked with Lance and Greg. The deal they offered was one we could not pass up. We were treated like old friends and left feeling we made a good choice. When I returned to pick up my Sportwagon I was greeted like family. Everyone I met remembered my name. During the the tour of the facility, the tutoring course on my new car, and processing the paper work I was treated with respect, which does not happen often when a woman enters a dealership or service facility. I have to say the whole experience (about 8 hours over 2 days) was awesome. I would recommend Lance, Greg and everyone at Kocourek to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Great Job guys!! More
