Buying my first car It was a very easy hassle-free process I really enjoyed the fact that I got to test drive any vehicle I wanted before even worrying about the price. Other dealerships are so concerned if you can afford the vehicle or not. And will not test drive them until you fill out a credit app. Overall experience was good will most likely come back. Sold me a bad used car, wouldn't do anything about it So my wife and I bought a used VW Touareg from them. In less than a month it needed a new front differential. We hadn't put 1k miles on the vehicle. So my wife and I bought a used VW Touareg from them. In less than a month it needed a new front differential. We hadn't put 1k miles on the vehicle. I was told a new front differential we $6.5K, and that was "a deal" because we just bought it. Took the vehicle for a second opinion and was told there was no way the differential would go bad in 1k miles. There would metal shavings in the fluid, meaning it had been an issue for awhile. Got the car fixed else where for $3k. Kocourek now owns virtually all the dealerships in Wausau, but they will never receive my business again and I've made it a point to share this story with anyone I know looking to purchase a vehicle. Apparently customer service goes out the window if it would hurt their bottom line. More

Service inspections put peoples lives in danger! I will begin with the useless, 32 point inspection. After 2 inspections, 6 months apart, it showed the brakes were (OK) 2 weeks after my wife was d I will begin with the useless, 32 point inspection. After 2 inspections, 6 months apart, it showed the brakes were (OK) 2 weeks after my wife was driving and brakes failed, got it home and got under it, no hoist like the dealer, and because the rear pads were worn down, the right side caliper, rotor, and now tire leaks, rim is discolored, they should have noticed, being I was told by the service manager, " that tech has 20 years experience" so I moved to the other side and low and behold, my inspection report should have been marked, requires immediate attention, nope was marked green (checked and OK) this is a lie!!!!, After asking the service manager about this, I was told " well it depends on the rims, I told him " I have the five spoke, easy to see" then the babbling started. well sometimes they can't see the back pad. says on my report they were inspected!!!!! I also brought all the parts in, including the pad from the right side that had 0 pad left, the rotor that was severely damaged, Oh after I told them that, "I felt grooves in the rotor" the service tech and the manager both told me, " many people come in and think because they have grooves they are bad, but this comes form dirt." I wouldn't have brought it up if that is all it was, I was being treated like I was an idiot. Any way I mentioned I brought the parts with me, The service manager said' "I don't need to see them." I now am doing all my own service, I will not trust this place again, what else do they tell you they do but don't hmmmm!!!! I guess having 3 rims very clean and shiny and one being yellow, means nothing to a person with 20 years experience. This being my first VW, I knew exactly what it was. Next the service inspection report, I showed the service manager the report as of 5-2-14 and it showed a yellow mark, may need service in the future, and on 1-6-15 It was in the green. I mentioned this and was told again by the service manager,, " I don't have a problem with that, but would if it went from red to green, well I showed him my papers, ( I keep everything) and it showed on 5-2-14 my brake fluid need Immediate attention, then 6 months later it must have changed itself, because on 1-6-15 it was marked as good, then the babbling started again, and I was an idiot again. that's 2 things that deal with what stops this vehicle. It appears Koucourek cares very little about the safety of it's customers? I will go back to Fred Mueller, at least the service tech comes out and talks to you, not leave it to a receptionist, who only tells you what is written. Oh it did make me feel better when I was told by the service manager, he used to work at Autozone, yes that compares to Volkswagen. Yes I did contact the General manager and got no response, SHows what they think of the customer. I felt when I left that, the customer is always wrong and an idiot............ More
