This place is a joke Went in because of "great deals online" and thought it was odd three different sales people answered my question with the same "scripted" response. I called the next day to two of the other kocourek locations and it was like talking to freakin robots they all are reading the same thing trying to avoid questions and milk me for more information. Looking for a new Suburu I stopped at this dealership several times and looked at new Subaru's. The people were helpful and friendly. I saw the sign hanging from the cars in the showroom stating"Guaranteed Lowest Price". This statement is also on their website. I looked online and was quoted significantly less than their quote ($2,600). I brought my other quotes in expecting a match and was given a new price that was about $600.00 more than my printed quotes. I asked about their guarantee and was told that they could not sell the car for that amount. I ended up ordering it from another dealer and ended up saving about $800.00. If I can't believe what their printed advertisement states, how do I know that they really changed my oil when they tell me they did. More

Standout Performance I've purchased 2 Subarus from Kocourek and recently ordered a 3rd. To say that I'm a fan would be a gross understatement. The vehicles themselves are outstanding but even putting that aside the buying experience is head and shoulders above any other dealer I have dealt with. I very much appreciate the low pressure sales and I always leave feeling like they genuinely care for my satisfaction. The 1st vehicle I purchased was an impreza and while overall it was a great little car it did have a couple issues with a seat sensor recall and an oil consumption problem. But, the way the service department dealt with these issues was outstanding. They were solved promptly and didn't cost me a dime. I was very thankful to receive this level of service. Haven't had any issues with the 2nd vehicle which is a crosstrek and just awesome. I would absolutely recommend this dealership. More

Awful customer service The worst last two years of my car driving life. My 2013 Subaru Outback has been a total lemon since I leased it brand new in September 2012. 10+ time The worst last two years of my car driving life. My 2013 Subaru Outback has been a total lemon since I leased it brand new in September 2012. 10+ times in the shop for defective radio, windows wouldn't open, oil light on/off for last 20,000. It's burns 2 quarts of oil every 5000 miles. Subaru of America at least tried to be accommodating by offering a new engine (glad the engine is defective on my new car) or a 2015 Subaru in trade. I refuse to allow Kocourek to service my car for the next three years however...every complaint to the sales people, manager, and service staff was met with indignation and my multiple attempts to alleviate the issues were ignored. My third Subaru will be my last...not as much an indictment of the car, but on the dealership. Very poor customer service... More

My previous experience WAS pretty terrible in my eyes, but I have since dealt with two other employees and the experience was much different. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and remembered my previous poor experience. They seemed to be willing to do what it took to make sure I was satisfied and I am very glad I gave them a second chance. I often put reviews to let people know what to expect and I believe that with this dealership you have a fifty fifty chance. Just make sure you are able to work with the person you talk to and I am sure you will leave a satisfied customer. More

Would not let me test drive vehicle saying I was a "kid" I am a 28 year old business owner that has previously paid cash for a Subaru from the same dealership and was interested in buying a vehicle from them I am a 28 year old business owner that has previously paid cash for a Subaru from the same dealership and was interested in buying a vehicle from them, but was told I could not test drive without signing a sales agreement and putting cash down. I would HAVE to drive a vehicle before I would be able to make a decision like that. The vehicle I was looking at was $25,000 brand new and less powerful than the car I drove onto the lot, but they acted like I was a 16 year old with no money or assets or a chance of being able to purchase it. Like I was asking to drive a Rolls Royce or something. Its a four door sedan for $25000 for cryin out loud. Them calling me a "kid" and discriminating me based on my age was very insulting and confusing. I would not buy from them again simply because of this experience alone. I was told that the manager would call me right away at 11am to schedule a test drive. That call never came. More

We were hunting for a used Forester and we contacted Kocourek about one they had listed. And although it had already been sold, Brian was able to find the perfect one for us anyway. Brian has a casual and friendly demeanor that really made our buying experience comfortable. No high-pressure here. Andrea was pleasant and handled the paperwork part of the deal smoothly. The car did need some service, and Lucas was willing to work with us on it. He said, "I stand behind my cars," and I believe it. The car was scheduled for service within the week, Tony and his crew were friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. They were done faster than estimated and I was on my way, a happy new owner of a sweet old Subaru. We're from the Fox Cities, but I would shop here again. More
