Rip off My fiancé and I were looking to trade in our 2011 Tundra for a newer model. We went to our preferred dealer first and got some prices that seemed inc My fiancé and I were looking to trade in our 2011 Tundra for a newer model. We went to our preferred dealer first and got some prices that seemed incredibly reasonable, but we would of had to order the truck and wait 8-12 weeks. Not wanting to wait we decided to go to Koch since they were the only dealer in the area with Tundras in stock. The sales guy was nice, friendly, and easy to deal with. When we decided on the model we liked we sat down to look at prices. The prices were astronomical compared what we saw at the first dealer. Koch was trying to get as much money out of us as possible. When I asked about the math for leasing, a finance guy came out to try and explain. His explaination was terrible (I'm sure because they were trying to rip us off) and when I kept asking questions he magically came down to a monthly price that was almost $200 less than the original. The whole process and the way the numbers were presented to us made me very uncomfortable. The next day when I called our sales guy to let him know we would be going elsewhere he said he understood. A few minutes later he called back and said he spoke with his general manager and was able to get the price where we wanted it to be. It was a tough decision to go there because I felt like they were trying to rip us off from the beginning, but since they had the truck in stock we decided to get it from Koch. I am still disappointed that that was the decision we made instead of going to a dealer I trusted and I do not plan to use Koch in the future. More
