We looked at all of the car LET THE BUYER BEWARE In September 2016, my Wife/I decided to “buy local” in order to support the Klamath Falls economy. We looked at all of the car dealerships in town and settled on KLAMATH FALLS SUBARU; they had a used Kia SUV that we liked and inquired if the dealership would be interested in taking our 2007 Jeep Compass Sport as a “trade-in.” The dealership noted that they would be interested in our Jeep and asked us how much we wanted for our trade-in – we told them that the vehicle had been well maintained, had newer tires, etc. and that we considered that $1,500 as a bottom line fair price for this vehicle: this amount would have allowed them to make a reasonable profit from our trade-in. Thereafter, the salesman typed our trade-in information into to the Kelly Blue Book website (as reported by her) and told us that the vehicle was worth far less than we requested/expected, citing hail damage; the salesman stated that it was only worth $175. In addition, one of the other employees there told us how little the car was worth, pointed to its perceived problems, and asked what was the “minimum” that we would take since the car was only worth $175. My Wife/I spoke about this matter and agreed that based on what they were now telling us, that $750 was the least we would go. The dealership agreed to this amount but made us feel that they were doing us a favor and told us that there were lots of things that needed to be fixed, to include the hail damage before sale. Yet, immediately following closure of the Kia SUV deal, the very next day the dealership posted the vehicle for sale on their website at $3,118. Clearly, the pictures on the website depicted that they had made no such repairs and that their offered price was considerably more than they had paid us – over 400% profit for them. Only two days following posting, our Jeep was sold, clearly suggesting that we had been taken advantage of by KLAMATH FALLS SUBARU. Sadly, we had hoped that the dealership would be fair/honest with us concerning the value of our trade-in. But, they were not. They represented that the car was worth only $175 but they listed it for sale at $3,118 two days later – obviously, it was worth a LOT MORE THAN THEY TOLD US. BOTTOM LINE: LET THE BUYER BEWARE IN DEALING WITH KLAMATH FALLS SUBARU!!! More

We barley just made the first payment. More

From our first visit to our final purchase, couldn't have been better. He knows his trade and is as honest and as God-loving of a man as you will ever meet. We enjoyed the process. David took the time to find the right car for us. He treated our 4-yr old like his own grandchild. We bought for our High School-aged son. He knew what we wanted and took care of us. No push. None. He could read us perfectly. Walked away and gave us time to talk privately. Let us take our time. No poor sales tactics here. This is what all salesmen should be. Thanks, David. I'm a believer. More

I took days trying to figure out what I wanted exactly and he was there to help me all the way with a kind word and alway a smile. We ended up purchasing a 2016 Crosstrek. This is my first Subaru AWD. Anthony took the time to answer all of my questions. He let us make all the decisions and wasn't pushy about anything. He was wonderful and treated us with respect! Everyone at this Subaru dealership was top notch and very respective of us! I will be telling all of my friends and family about the great care they took of us! Thank you for truly making "this" car buying experience exceptional! More

Until Ron stopped by to pick up something from his office. Who takes the time to answers a few questions and then ends up taking the next few hours ON HIS DAY OFF to sell me a car? Ron Settlemire, the finance manager at Klamath Falls Honda Subaru does, that's who! Beyond going the extra mile! He wasn't even the salesman! I recently moved from Southern California and time and time again I find the people here are so kind, but Ron takes the cake! I am never moving from here and never going to buy a car from another place. I can't thank you enough for taking the time from your family to make me be able to get back to California in a reliable car. I bought a brand new Subaru Forester and couldn't be happier. More
