Harry, I apologize for the level of service you received recently. Obviously we failed to clearly communicate to you and didn’t do a good job of differentiating between the oil leaks and the transmission fluid leaks. The transmission fluid in these model year Escapes is dark brown and looks very much like motor oil. Regardless, we should have invited you in to the shop and shown you what areas we observed to be wet. And you’re right, we should have given you priority and had the Escape checked and diagnosed shortly after you returned with it. Again, I apologize for the concerns. If you would be kind enough to allow us to look at the vehicle with you in the shop, I’m confident we can come to an agreement regarding what may still be leaking. You can contact service manager Tom Alcorn(330-593-6720) or me, Carl Bujorian, service director(330-593-6722). I’ve left you a voicemail and an email asking for another opportunity. Feel free to respond to either form of communication. If you chose not to respond I will respect your right to do business elsewhere.
