Brought my latest truck in for its first service, Kara helped me out this time. She did a fantastic job helping me, even though there seemed to be a miss in rescheduling for my first appointment. As my original date was too early in my mileage, I had rescheduled with another advisor for a later date, and it appeared that it had not gotten put in the computer. Although it didn't appear that I was actually scheduled for the day I arrived Kara was very helpful in getting me into service that day. Also, the new email sent by the technician going over the work completed, and the inspections completed was appreciated. I have worked with Klaben and Klaben service for many years, it has always been top notch and pleasant to work with the people at Klaben, even if there a miss step they have always made it right. More

Usually always a very good experience at Klaben but I have also had slips up there with service that has just been inconsistent. Recently sent my vehicle in for their 60k mile service which very much is have also had slips up there with service that has just been inconsistent. Recently sent my vehicle in for their 60k mile service which very much is not cheap! Honestly it all just felt very average at best. I dropped the car off was told usually around 5 hours, received a call about 2-3 hours later it was done. great done early. When i arrived, paid for the service, quick talk that everything is good and out the door. When I get to my car, I notice it was never washed after service and then realized never even received a diagnostics report that is usually given showing the status of everything. Now I get it they are not required to wash the car, but man its right there and they have offered it every time even for simple oil changes so you would think dropping it off would be automatic to have done before they even call us back for vehicle, or heck when calling just ask then. As for diagnostic report this has been a continuous issue of not receiving them- now again are they required to do so? No, but they have set that standard before so now its expected. I did voice my annoyance with a service manager who was very polite and apologetic to the circumstances, but hey you ask for the review then I'm going to put it out here. Even after speaking to the service manager, I still have not received the diagnostics report on the vehicle. Why do I find this important? Because in 2021 they told me I was in line for new brakes on the Jeep which I ended up waiting to do and ever since then during oil changes etc.. the diagnostic reports keep coming back and the service advisors keep telling me I don't need brakes so to this day I'm still not understanding how the one prior service advisor I worked with (who is still there) before told me I would need brakes when I didn't. *Note this is not the first time I have talked to a service manager about the lack of a diagnostic report or being inconsistent with them. I live 30 minutes from Klaben so it's just not around the corner. For a $800 service job which I would be almost 100% certain is more than any regular spot I could have taken my vehicle to for service. I just expect better service and communication. After a big service job, I just expect that I am going to review everything that was done and given updates on what to expect coming up on a vehicle with 70k miles on it, but that didn't happen- the conversation was very much- everything looks good and here is the cost. I understand dealerships are more expensive than normal service garages, and I am willing to pay for the conveniences they offer with working in a clean environment while waiting and techs who know the brand the best, but with the increased costs that I'm paying then I expect a much better experience and I am not consistently seeing that from Klaben. So did Klaben really do anything wrong here? Not really- just for me personally they haven't been meeting the standards and expectations that they have set for themselves on their service. So, I have made the decision to start having my Jeep serviced at a local garage from here on out and save the drive time and just head home or to the office to work while waiting on the vehicle and I assume save a little $$ in the process.
