I recently 'totaled' my car and a few days later underwent an already scheduled surgery on my shoulder. Got on the internet looking for an auto and found what I was looking for, more or less. Asked for a quote and was introduced to Chris Pevey. Chris is the complete opposite of the "car salesman" in the sense he was very 'helpful' .....NOT PUSHY. He learned of my circumstance and since I was only about 20 / 25 mile away he offered to bring a car to my home for inspection. He'll never know how much I appreciated that and I ade up my mind right then I as going to buy a car from him if we found the right one in relation to the $$$$$. Chris was up to the task. I believe we spent more than 3 months looking at all types of vehicles and, more importantly, dealing with ALL types of car salesmen. Now, I know that car sales is (and has to be) a very competitive bus types of vehicles and, more importantly, dealing with ALL types of car salesmen. Now, I know that car sales is (and has to be) a very competitive business. However, when my wife and I set out to find our next vehicle, we knew that we wanted to deal with A) a personable salesman who wasn't pushy or rude and B) a dealership that would be honest about their product and pricing. Here we are at Kim's in Laurel, MS and we received just that. I think what impressed us most was that Chris was willing to go the extra mile while we were traveling close to the area by staying up late and researching trade values, etc. We never felt like we were being pushed into the sale in the least, but at the same time could tell that he was really working to get us to the price we wanted to see. Also of note, the entire staff was more than swamped on the day of purchase, but we never felt isolated or left out. They handled the multiple sales efficiently and we were on our way in what felt like an adequate amount of time. Bottom line: when we dealt with this dealer, the connection to the sales team was very casual, while being efficient and up front. Thanks for a great experience with our new Dodge. More
