I bought a brand new Mazda 3 i Touring and I will never buy from there again. The car was dirty on the inside, looked like someone put their feet where the hinges are, and scratches on the outside and a de buy from there again. The car was dirty on the inside, looked like someone put their feet where the hinges are, and scratches on the outside and a dent on the roof of the car. Fadi made it seem like we are the ones that put the dent on the roof of the car. Trust me if it was something I did I wouldn't be so unhappy with my experience!! Also, scratches on the inside on the door handles, and the lower part of the inside of the passenger front door. A few of the things were fixable but not all of them. Fadi the General Manager isn't the greatest guy in our opinion. He made it seem like the damages were no big deal when in fact when you buy a brand NEW car at full price you don't expect to have damages to the vehicle! I feel like I bought a USED car for the price of a NEW car! We asked if they could fill up the car for our inconveniences but do you think they would do that. The answer would be NO! We also asked for All- Weather Floor Mats for the rainy weather, do you think they did that for us? Again the answer would be NO! This has been the WORST experience ever buying a brand new car. When we got the car back from repairing the dent, the inside of the car was dirty. The back passenger door handle had dirt on it, the center console was dirty. The door for the tire jack was removed (why would this be)? I don’t expect to get my vehicle back dirty on the inside. More
Day one, Coop worked with us and allowed us to test drive SUVs that we were interested in. Day two, Amanda did everything in her power to get us into our cx-7, and she made it happen! She was so fun to work SUVs that we were interested in. Day two, Amanda did everything in her power to get us into our cx-7, and she made it happen! I recently (4/29/12) purchased a new skyactiv mazda. I went to the dealership with the idea of buying an affordable used car, four door, good gas mileage, etc. I walked the lot for a few minutes before being approached by Richard. I described what I was looking for and he seemed to have a pretty good knowledge of what they had available on the lot. After test driving a camry and a honda, Richard gave me a quick look at their new skyactiv mazda 3. This was a clean looking car! Especially in white! I decided on a "quick" test drive, just for fun. We took it on the highway, and through some smaller roads around the dealership. It was quite the peppy car. I honestly wasn't expecting it. I'd been in a friends prius before, and it's not exactly this zippiest car! But this thing gets 40mpg on the freeway, WITHOUT a battery! When we got back, I looked at a few more used economy cars, but my eye kept peaking back at that white mazda 3... i asked a few questions about financing, and they took my info to see what kind of deal they could get me. I don't have FANTASTIC credit, but its pretty good. they could do $340 a month for 72 months, with zero down. i thought, i can afford that! Thats $100 LESS that what I spend to fill my suburban every month!! i decided to go with it, never having owned a new car in my life. No regrets so far! Richard was a little bit of a hard sell, but it wasn't anything i could handle! Fadi really closed the deal though and for the latter half of the deal and paperwork he was right there helping me along. It's been almost a month now, and i fall in love with my mazda more each day. The gas milage is AWESOME and its really great to have something I know IM the first owner of! Great experience, even though I walked out with something completely different than what I had in mind! i'll report back if I experience anything that might change my opionion. More

My husband and I took my Mazda3 into Kiefer for the first time for it's routine maintenance and oil change. Also, our tire pressure light came on and we wanted that checked out. The staff was very friendly a time for it's routine maintenance and oil change. Also, our tire pressure light came on and we wanted that checked out. The staff was very friendly and got the job done in a timely manner. However, later that day, the tire pressure light came on again. We called Mazda and they said we could bring it in anytime during the next couple days, didn't even have to make another appointment. When we went in, they found a nail in the tire, and patched the tire up at absolutely no additional cost! That is great customer service, and we will definitely be back! Thanks Tyler and Kiefer! More
Addendum to my review: A couple days after writing my review, the GM of Kiefer Mazda called my daughter, had her bring the car back and fixed everything at no cost to her. He said it was because custome review, the GM of Kiefer Mazda called my daughter, had her bring the car back and fixed everything at no cost to her. He said it was because customer satisfaction is Kiefer Mazda's paramount concern. My daughter was looking for a good used car. We called Kiefer Mazda about a car they listed for sale on the internet. It was no longer in stock. The sales person asked our criteria (good, reliable car under $5k with under 100k miles) and called a few hours later to tell us they had a 2002 Ford Taurus they'd JUST gotten in. It was close to our price range, in excellent condition, an under 78k miles. We went to the lot, and during the test drive, my daughter noted that the heater wasn't getting hot - it was warm, but not hot. We were told the car just needed to warm up more. After the test drive, we looked the car over and noticed water in the left hinge area of the trunk, and the door ajar idiot light staying on. We discussed buying the car if they'd repair both trunk leak and door ajar issue. After being told that the car was really $6999, not $5999 -- that the sales person had misread the sticker price, and that for the price of $5k, they couldn't afford to affect any repairs, we left the dealership. The next morning, the sales person called and told us that they would make the repairs and sell us the car for $5k, but that my daughter would have to make an appointment for the next week to complete the repairs. My daughter went to the dealership, signed the papers and took the car home. On the drive home, she noted the heater was blowing cold air when the car was not moving, and only blowing warm air when moving. We immediately called the dealership and were told to bring the car in for repairs the next day. We did so noting that if the heater was not fixed, we wanted our money back. When the dealership called the next day, my daughter was told that only the trunk leak was repaired because she had signed the purchase papers stating the vehicle was bought "as is". I personally talked to the manager and when I asked how they could sell a defective car; one with a defective heater in the dead of winter, to a young woman with a brand new baby, I was told that Kiefer was "forthcoming in their disclosures that the car was never mechanically checked, that it was one they were taking to auction, and that we had bought it prior to auction with no guarantees it would drive once off the lot". We were NEVER told the car was slated for auction, and while the document said "Kiefer Mazda did not complete a safety check" of the vehicle, no one EVER said it had not been checked out by their mechanics - in fact, we were told that it was such a clean, wonderful car that they were doing US a favor selling it to us! Any further discussion was met with "she bought the car as-is". This, to my mind borders on fraud and criminal conduct. Kiefer Mazda is NOT an honorable business that is staffed by liars with no moral conscience. This is NOT good customer service. More
If I could give this dealer a big fat thumbs down I would. Back in July I traded in my vehicle for a used truck. It did not come with a warranty, but they assured me that their team had looked over eve would. Back in July I traded in my vehicle for a used truck. It did not come with a warranty, but they assured me that their team had looked over everything with the vehicle and that is was fine and there were no problems with it. I also asked if the tags were rolled into the payment and covered for the year, they said this was covered and that I would receive my tags in the mail. Well I have certainly received them in the mail alright, I got a letter from the DMV saying that I owe $86 in December for new tags even though the dealer charged me $77 for them in July!! Since I bought the truck, within exactly 4 months, I have had to put in a new battery, new windshield wipers, a new fuse for the lighter, the rear passenger windows motor is broken and needs replacing, the drivers side air bag was RECALLED! And my servicing dealer in Portland took care of that for me thank goodness!! I also had to do a 60k work up on it because even though it was so close to it, they didn't do it!! The passenger side mirrors casing is cracked and needs replacing, came like that off the lot, I asked them if they could fix it for me, I mean I am paying you $20,000 for a car, but no, they refused. Are you kidding me! I also need new tires within 20k mile. Why? Tires come with 100k miles on them, do you want to tell me why there were only 30k worth of miles to drive on those tires?!? They obviously did not look at the truck, lied to my face, and stuck me with something that I had no idea what was wrong with. I have put so much money into fixing this truck because of their inability to fix a vehicle before they put it on the lot to sell to someone. I asked all the right questions, a bunch of times, and they gave all the right answers, they just all happened to be lies. And they sold it at full blue book value, with all the problems, are you kidding me, if they had actually fixed everything and put new tires on and such, THEN your allowed to sell it at full blue book value. Kiefer Mazda is a bunch of no good, lying, xxxxxxxx swindlers!!! If I were you and buying a new car or used car, I would seriously go to ANYONE, besides Kiefer Mazda, you think your safe cause it's not a mom and pop dealer, but your not, it's still a lemon lot. I should have known from the commercials. And since I've started gripping about them to anyone I meet asking, I have found out that a lot of people have had problems with them. My suggestion...do your research before you ever set foot on their lot. They don't have the best history. I wish I knew that sooner :( More
HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I have never been treated so poorly at a "professional" place of business.. I brought my car in for a diagnosis back in February.. The "tech" tinkered with my car for a while, making me a "professional" place of business.. I brought my car in for a diagnosis back in February.. The "tech" tinkered with my car for a while, making me wait a few hours to finally tell me he had no idea what he was doing & that he was just the "oil-change guy"..?? I rescheduled & have been back 3 times now.. Each time Tyler couldn't really tell me anything useful, besides my spark plug wires were bad. I bought new wires (thinking mine were bad since that is what they had told me) & went to put them on & found a surprisingly large chunk of rubber lodged between my wires & plugs... So I put my old ones back in & took it for a drive & guess what.. My wires were not bad!! Good thing i did not pay them to fix them right! All 3 times I had been in, they were very wisywashy. I told them upon dropping my car off I had a vacuum leak. When returning to pick up my car I was quoted around $400 to fix a vacuum leak. Pretty broad right..? Yeah, and they could not tell me what exactly I would be paying them to fix! I payed for a DIAGNOSIS.. and thats what i should have gotten. I did not promise to have the problem fixed by them after it was diagnosed.. not just yet anyways. And thank god. When I asked for further information, Tyler just kept telling me the same thing over & over, that they would "take care of me" I asked to speak with the tech who worked on my car & they refused saying, "he won't remember your car anyways, he services sooo many each day" I told them I would like a part number & an explanation of the problem & what exactly they would be doing.. Again, I was told he wasn't sure & that if I just go ahead & pay them to "do it" they will take care of me.. I have called about once every other week & tried to either get another diagnosis OR my money back, each time speaking with Tyler and/or Jason & each time I am told they will personally see to it that my issue is solved & call back within the day! .......... This has been going on for almost 3 months now!!! and no calls back??? I took my car to a dealership expecting great service & friendly people, Thanks Kiefer Mazda More
