Very disappointed with the customer service from the service department! I had a recall on my car so made an appointment to get it fixed. The letter I received stated that if there were any issues with service department! I had a recall on my car so made an appointment to get it fixed. The letter I received stated that if there were any issues with the engine or the catalytic converter the parts would be replaced at no charge to me. So after the service department was done replacing the recall part they told me that my catalytic converter needed replaced as well. When I brought up the letter that says that it would be covered the service Tech proceeded to tell me that the part would not be covered due to my car not having a warranty. So then I took my car home and nothing changed with the driving ability. I called the service tech again the next day Rereading what the letterhead said by looking at the letter that I received in the mail. Again he told me that it was not under warranty so the part I had to pay for which would be over $1000. I’ve been decided to start looking the other mechanics after looking for mechanics for almost a month and then Realized that the letters clearly states that it should not be a cost to me so I called the phone number on the letter that was in red letters and confirmed with them that the part should be covered and there is nothing That I should not have to pay because the recall part caused issues to the catalytic converter. So after talking to corporate and then called The Salem store and asked to speak with the service manager. I explain to the service manager what the issue was and told him that I called corporate and they clarified that I indeed do not have to pay for the part that was needed due to the recalled part. I was in placed on hold so that the service manager can go talk to the general manager about the situation. After about 10 minutes I got a call back stating that they will replace the Catalytic converter. So I made an appointment to have the car taken in to get the parts replaced. The day of my appointment I called a tow truck company to have them tow my vehicle to the dealership because I live about 45 minutes away I called to clarify that they would be there to pick up the car and just ask how long it will take for them to replace the parts and be done. I was told it would only be about an hour and they should be able to pick it up same day my appointment was timed for around four. Later that day after my car was dropped off I was sat and waited for a call per the service tech that they would let me know when my car was done. I never received a call that day. So the next day I decided to text the tech and see what the status was. I never received a text so I called the service department and asked if my vehicle was done so I could pick it up. I think I told that my part was on back order it would not be in until 10 days after my car was supposed to be fixed. Once that 10th day came around I was waiting for a text or a call never received any information so the following day I called again to the service department asking if my part was going to be in. I was told yes the part came in and they were going to fix it the next day. Five Minutes later I received another call from the parts department stating that no my part is not in it will not be until the first week of August. My car has been there since July 14 without being touched or without me being notified of what was going on unless I Called to see what was going on with my vehicle. Finally after almost Three weeks my car was finished and parked was finally replaced at no charge to me. I would not recommend taking any vehicle into this Service department. More

I have challenged credit, the staff at Kiefer worked with me to get me approved for my first car!
