We took our car to Eugene on Tuesday for service and had to return on Thursday (2, 4-hour drives, we live in Coos Bay). They did finally supply us with a loaner car after we spoke to the manager. Wednesda to return on Thursday (2, 4-hour drives, we live in Coos Bay). They did finally supply us with a loaner car after we spoke to the manager. Wednesday afternoon, they called to say that they had contacted Kia and were told that since they couldn't duplicate the multiple incidents, there was nothing they could do and to come pick up the car. Our 2022 telluride has an alarm system problem. After bringing the car home, I looked up the problem of continually random alarm issues on google and disabled the back seat sensor that was recommended; however, I wasn't sure it worked. I called Kias consumer assistant number and spoke to Jeff. He was amazing! He confirmed it was fixed with a utube email and promised me he would contact Kiefer Kia in Eugene Oregon to share the information and educate their service staff. It's unbelievable that a 79-year old woman solved the problem after the service staff wouldn't even look at it for 2 days. Our second disappointment with their service department was that they didn't bother to check to see if it had a recall issued in July. I would imagine all of the new Tellurides have the same problem. Now, another 4-hour round trip to Eugene. Very disappointed in Keifer Kias service. More
