It all started with our salesman who lacked people skills. It was so bad that we almost walked out 3 times but they did give us the price we wanted and they are the closest Kia dealership to us at only 8 miles away. I told my wife once the car is purchased we won't have to deal with anyone inside the dealership anymore just the service dept. so we agreed not to leave. When we took delivery of the car it only looked like they threw water on it and didn't even bother to dry it. The door jams and around the inside of the hatchback had quite a bit of dirt there, the dashboard was dusty and the carpet needed vacuumed. They weren't even going to include the carpeted floor mats but they heard us talking about it and we did get the mats. We left there hoping that was the last we would have to deal with anyone from the showroom because it was so painful working with the salesman. Boy were we wrong! Several days later my wife received an email with a survey to fill out about our experience at Bill Doraty Kia of Streetsboro. Because of the old adage, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, she deleted the emailed survey. She received another email a couple days later and deleted that, and then a 3rd email which she finally filled out. My wife filled out the survey honestly, accurately and fair describing our experience with the salesman and the condition of the car when we picked it up. Nothing bad was said, nothing derogatory was said, just our experience at the dealership. A couple days later she received a call at home and was asked if she was who she was, she was also asked if she filled out the survey and when she said yes the man on the phone asked her, "Who the @#%! do you think you are leaving a survey like that"? He then proceeded to ream her out over the phone for 3 minutes. She asked who he was and he told her his name and said he was one of sales managers at Kia. Words were exchanged and he told her that they didn't need to sell us a car and then over the course of his ill tempered beratement he specifically told her not to ever bring her car back to their dealerships for service which we see as an implied threat. He also made it clear to my wife that he knows where she works and what she does for a living. My wife immediately called Kia Corp. of USA to make a complaint about the phone call. Kia listened to everything and told her they thought it was serious enough and "creepy" enough to escalate the complaint for a faster response. I phoned Bill Doraty Kia of Medina to find out who the owner of the dealerships is since they are sister stores and I was met with hesitation over the phone to my questions. The manager in Medina told me he would contact the Streetsboro dealership to find out what happened and call me back. Medina never called me back but Streetsboro did. I explained to one of the other managers how, (lets just call him" T"), "T" verbally assaulted my wife over the phone and all I kept getting back from his boss were excuses on why "T" was so irate. After a lengthy conversation with "T"'s boss explaining to him why I wanted to know who the owner is and that Kia Corp had escalated this complaint he still did not tell me who the owner was and said he would only do what Kia Corp recommends. Over the next couple days the president of Bill Doraty Kia left a voicemail for my wife to call. When they were finally able to talk on the phone she told the president about what happened and he said he would like to meet with us and we met him at the Medina location Medina to discuss the matter. He immediately apologized for "T"s actions and said it was very unprofessional and uncalled for. He also said he reviewed the survey and found absolutely nothing wrong with her comments. We explained our concerns about "T" and what we perceived as an implied threat and how we would not and could not go back to Streetsboro to take her brand new car for service. The president said he spoke with" T "and "T" did not deny anything in our complaint and that he just thinks "T" just needs to be retrained. So that means we have to drive 27 miles for service instead of the 8 miles to Streetsboro? One of the main reasons for purchasing the car from Streetsboro was because of the close proximity to where we live. My parents have purchased 2 Kia Sorrentos from Bill Doraty Kia of Medina in about the last 6 years and have had that dealership service their vehicles and now they are now concerned for their safety as well since we obviously share the same last name. They have said they will never go back there for service or to purchase a car again. I also know several other people that have purchased cars from Bill Doraty Kia and they were shocked and said they would never go back. While we were in our meeting with the president he informed us that our car was going to be detailed since it was filthy when we bought it, they would top of our gas tank (which they never did)and because my wifes new car was keyed at work the day after she was verbally assaulted over the phone, they had a paint guy buff out the scratch to the paint job. We do appreciate what the president offered us but that still doesn't change the fact that we are unable to take our new vehicle to Streetsboro for service In fact we will not even be going back to their Medina dealership either. Our next closest option is to drive 35 miles away to have our brand new Kia serviced because of a coward who called my wife and harassed her over the phone. "T" should not be around people especially when the business involves customer service. He needs to be in a back room somewhere washing dishes or licking stamps. We spent over $25K at their store, left an honest review on how our experience was and then "T"called my wife on the phone only to strengthen our negative experience at Bill Doraty Kia. My wife is now constantly looking over her shoulder because of the irate phone call she received and I too am concerned for our safety. There's a reason they only have a 2.2 star rating. More More

Don't listen to the scorned ex employee I use to work for this dealer also and they are not trying to rip anyone off. Not only do they provide excellent cars at good prices to their customer I use to work for this dealer also and they are not trying to rip anyone off. Not only do they provide excellent cars at good prices to their customers but they also take care of their employees. You might read another review on here from another ex employee that got let go, but what you won't hear them say is they worked there for 3 months and never left her computer. Sorry usually I don't do this type of thing but it makes me mad when someone leaves a bad review because they got let go from a place because of their own doing. Anyways back to the point this is a good dealership with good consultants and management staff, so I do encourage you if you want a Kia and have a great and easy experience getting one go to Kia of Streetsboro. Have a good day everyone. More

Use extreme caution! Read everything,do not trust their word Yesterday I submitted my credit application online and requested availability of a SPECIFIC car I had come across online. Lauren promptly sent me a te Yesterday I submitted my credit application online and requested availability of a SPECIFIC car I had come across online. Lauren promptly sent me a text stating my application looked great and the car was there and available. I set up a 10am appointment for today and Lauren messaged me the address, the Medina address. So after a 40min drive and arriving at the Medina showroom I was immediately asked if I was interested in any other vehicles. When I told him no, he disappeared and came back to tell me it was at another one of their lots. He then proceeded to tell me that we needed to write up the paperwork and then the car would be brought down and if I liked it, I could just sign and go...Uh nope. So I called the Streetsboro store where the car was located and spoke to Tammy/Tamara? who informed me the car was definitely there and to ask for her when we got there. After another 40 minute drive, I was greeted by Nick. When I mentioned I was to ask for Tammy, he told me she was just the internet representative. (I'm pretty sure that was a lie) My husband looked over the car, we took it for a test drive, and decided we were interested in purchasing it. I felt like the car was reasonably priced and asked Nick to come down $329, yes only $329- to round down to the nearest grand. He spoke to his manager and we agreed on the price and proceeded to have paperwork written up. After coming back out with the paperwork for me to sign, he decided to go back to full asking price, and says "are you really going to let $329 come between you and the car?" Originally, no I wouldn't have, but because he tried to intimidate and corner me into a deal we didn't agree on, he let $329 come between him and a sale. It was unbelievable. More
