STAY AWAY! !! They had my car on a warranty job caused by a Kia mechanic for 5 MONTHS with zero proactive communication. After I paid for car it wouldn't start! !! This dealer has many issues that span across a variety of areas you may experience. First and foremost, the service department is absolute chaos. I visited this dealership 4 times in a 4 month span to get my areas you may experience. First and foremost, the service department is absolute chaos. I visited this dealership 4 times in a 4 month span to get my car serviced while it was still under warranty and on multiple occasions, the advisor would forget to order the part needed to fix my vehicle. After 3 failed attempts, they finally called and told me the part was in and I could come get it fixed. Once I did, I was quoted 3 hours on the total time it would take to fix it and I ended up waiting for just under 5 hours. These past experiences ended up leaving me to find a different Kia dealership to get serviced. I recommend finding a smaller dealership or local shop to get your car serviced because the overall process at Kia of South Austin will leave you wanting to pull your hair out from pure frustration and minimal communication and transparency. They also try to upsell EVERYTHING so save your money and get a quote from a smaller service center, otherwise you’ll pay an arm and a leg for a service from this location. More
