These people are so professional. I loved the attention they gave me. In the beginning they explained everything that they were going to do in detail and the mechanic recorded extra w I loved the attention they gave me. They are definitely with the times, using technology to the fullest to best serve their customers. Thanks to Luna and the crew that made everything happen. First time bringing my Soul to Kia South Austin for service. My advisor was Salvador. He was friendly, polite and professional. I told him what I needed done and he took care of me. I used to enjoy going there because I felt my salesperson Johnny was honest and cared about doing the right thing. Now, the assistant manager I dealt with seems more interested in selling or suggesting thin Johnny was honest and cared about doing the right thing. Now, the assistant manager I dealt with seems more interested in selling or suggesting things I didn't need because he has a sales quota in the service department. The reason I know this is because I called another dealership after my visit to get their opinion on what is required after so many miles since I'd recently had some of the suggested repairs they were saying I needed done only 2 months ago! So I would be very cautious as a woman trusting the repairs Anthony and his team push. Get a second opinion, check another car repair to see if the price is fair and if the repair is really needed. I had my ignition replaced and an oil change which so far is fine..just be aware... More
Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership service department! They had my car for a warranty issue which they said would take 2 weeks, it took a month. We had to call our service advisor several tim department! They had my car for a warranty issue which they said would take 2 weeks, it took a month. We had to call our service advisor several times to get an update and eventually just called the service department because he would not return calls. When my husband was finally able to pick up our car it took forever for them to get it. We found out why when my husband stopped to get some lunch after picking it up, he turned the car off and when he tried to turn the car back on it wouldn't start. Instead of telling him the battery was dead and needed to be replaced they let him drive away and get stranded at the next place he stopped. The whole experience was terrible and I will never take my car there again!!! More
Since I have moved to Texas, Kia of South Austin is the only dealership I have used for service to my 2019 Sportage. This is the first time I've had a Service Advisor who kept me advised of the progress o only dealership I have used for service to my 2019 Sportage. This is the first time I've had a Service Advisor who kept me advised of the progress of my service being performed. He is also the first one who did not tell me how to answer the review questions. Rudy is very respectful and naturally perceptive of the customer's needs. In my opinion he is an asset to Kia of South Austin's staff. Rudy gets 10 stars in my book!!!! As I am not mechanically inclined, I trust your service department to do their best to satisfy the customer and take care of their vehicle. Normally I have no complaints, however this time, after the tire check and rotation which I requested, I was left with 1 tire 5psi under-inflated. Usually not a big deal but during this cold weather, it is a big deal. I was not expecting to have to stop somewhere and pay to take care of it. The other issue with after-service - I have to go back through and figure out how to reset all of my preferred settings. I know this seems trivial but for a 73 year old woman it is a major issue. Last but certainly not least - I love my KIA Sportage!!! I previously had a SOUL, but needed something a little larger. So glad I found the Sportage. It has been dependable for long trips as well as an all around town vehicle. More
