Can’t get service on the phone. Sent my car over by my wife because I work long hours and they insist that I have to go to explain problem even though I sent a letter with detailed explanation. I am a regular with Berglund as I drove a leased To Some of my 1st experiences with the Berglund service department(s) was/has not been very pleasant. I am a regular with Berglund as I drove a leased Toyota for nearly 10 years with their brother dealership across Lynchburg. It appeared both suffered from some of the same issues but Kia has improved noticeably. In the last terrible Kia experience, I reached out and contacted them and gave my honest review (and it was not good) as I (and another lady) were left waiting for almost 3 hrs. The issue for me ended up being (or at least appearing) that I misunderstood my appointment time and they got busy. I understand and can appreciate them trying to fit me in, despite my misunderstanding. I take ownership of that BUT I would have preferred, if they were too busy, to request (if I can) to reschedule as I did not hope (much less plan) to wait for almost 3 hours. However, for the other lady, no one checked her in and they forgot to pick up her keys so she had been waiting for some time, without them working on her vehicle- because they did not have the keys to start work. I was disappointed. My most recent experience, I went in for service on my lunch break and requested they try to keep the service within an hour. There was an entirely different set of people working. The service lady said they would, and they did! I was happy to be in my car and back on the road in less than an hour. They walked me through what I needed, work that should be done on the next visit and even reviewed what they did that day. Lastly, the nice gentlemen walked me to my car and was very sweet (this guy even regularly checked on all of the people waiting ensuring we had what we needed or that he was there to assist with any questions). It was really good service. They have improved and I would easily refer them to others. Hope they keep up the great work. More

I sent some friends to Kia, to talk to her directly because she did a perfect job of getting me to buy a Kia- never was interested in the brand before stopping at the lot. Quite honestly, I just went to the dealership to look and she did a wonderful job of working with me and getting everything the way I wanted it. Honestly, I was not going to buy from Kia because my previous buying experience with them was so awful a few years ago but Elena made up for all of that in just being a human and not a sales person looking to make their quota. She was very knowledgeable, professional and had me laughing. More
