Sales person ok. Vehicle was not detailed as well as I expected. Found out after getting home coolant reservoir was bone dry and radiator a bit low. Very high doc fees, around $1200, which is pure profit. Dealer “value added package”:is standard and cost $1998.00. It can not be removed from invoice. More pure profit for things like windshield coating, head light deglazing, edge guard, etc. No one could tell me the deductible on this either. I heard $50/$100/$200 so who knows. Supposedly includes a lifetime power train warranty but most of those are very vague and usually only cover issues that are very rare. Finance was bordering on rude when I refused to buy any additional packages for thousands more. At one point he asked me if I had the funds available to pay for those unforeseen repairs if needed but I stood my ground. When I asked to explain the “value added package” I was already on the hook for he said it was in my paperwork. They did finally step up on my trade and said they were losing money, but I saw it advertised two days later for $5,000 more. Why did I buy? Right vehicle at the time, happy wife, and market is tough right now. Would I buy from dealer again? Probably not. Too much work, time, and aggravation. One more note. Vehicle would not crank before test drive, and I felt bad for salesman. Said key fob batteries were low and would be replaced. Obviously not the case as the next day the low key fob battery lit up on the dash so I’ll spend the 5 bucks to replace myself! More
