**APPOINTMENT:** Where do I start? *(Make sure you read the pricing part)* I had an appointment with Laurel. She texted me 30 minutes before the appointment to confirm, and I arrived 15 minutes early. We waited 5 minutes before the appointment to walk in, and when we did, Laurel saw us. But suddenly, she was overbooked, and someone else had to help us. I'm not saying it was because of the color of our skin, but the whole experience felt strange from the beginning, as if they didn't want "us" there. Laurel told my wife that someone else would help us, never apologized for the miscommunication, and wasn't polite at all. **TEST DRIVE:** Now let's talk about the guy who "helped" us. I don't like a pushy salesperson, but this guy didn't seem interested in selling this car to "us" at all. He knew nothing about the Wagoneer and couldn't answer any of our questions. I already had my financing through Chase for $75k. I did NOT disclose this amount to them, and it was NOT a *pre-approval*. I was fully funded with $75k! **PRICING:** After the test drive, we returned to the dealership, and the guy was on his phone, barely interacting with us. He then walked into the dealership, leaving my family and me outside. We sat down to discuss numbers. The SUV's *sale price* was listed at $53k, but they claimed that the online price wasn't accurate because they sell at *market value*, which was $58k. By the time all fees were added, the price for the Wagoneer was $65k. (I have screenshots of the original price and their policies before they changed them online to match their lies!!) One of the managers approached us aggressively, claiming he was losing money by selling it for $65k (what a joke)! Then he said something odd that made me feel like they were trying to provoke me into reacting as an "angry black man." It wasn't his words, but rather how he said them, that made me wonder. He said, "Well, after all this, thank you for being kind to us," as if he knew they had treated me poorly on purpose. **MANAGER'S CALL:** Today, I received a call from another "manager" (who should be FIRED ASAP). He asked if I was still in the market. I told him that, given how my family and I were treated, I wouldn't be buying from them. He then said, "Well, I'm a manager. Tell me about your experience." I started explaining that the customer service was subpar (trash), and he interrupted me, saying, "The customer service IS WHAT IT IS!" He never apologized, never acknowledged my frustration, never asked who I had worked with who provided such poor service. With a manager like that, it's no wonder the employees behave the way they do. Lastly, Kia of Leesburg, I (the young Black guy) could have purchased the most expensive car you sell! However, I refuse to enable you to treat people this way by supporting your business. This entire dealership belongs in the TRASH! More
