We would recommend this dealership because of our salesperson Tim, however we are extremely disappointed with the management due to our recent experience feeling like we were given the bare and switc salesperson Tim, however we are extremely disappointed with the management due to our recent experience feeling like we were given the bare and switch due to our written agreement for our trade-in for our new vehicle on order which took several months. Once the car finally arrived we were called to come in, we again verified verbally the price and told yes. Once we got to the dealership we were presented with a price of six thousand dollars higher which is a huge discrepancy as to what was agreed too by us and the sales team. We blame the management for not discussing this with us and making no effort for any compensation for loyal customers. We were blindsided as we think our salesman Tim was as well. We deserve better and would like to hear from the management team. We still go to the dealership for our service on our new vehicle. We did continue with the purchase out of respect for for our salesman and the fact that we honor our commitment as we ordered the vehicle. More
The service was great, and the repair was done correctly the first time. However, the parts took over two months to arrive. That's not on the dealership; that's on Kia. Laurie listened to us and worked to get us what we wanted. She was knowledgeable, attentive to detail, and worked hard not only to make a sale but to make us happy with our new car. Frank Simone I felt was a smoozer who was unprofessional and not happy with my attempts to get the car lower in pricing. Of course, as a consumer we are trying to save as much as we can. Of course, as the dealership they are trying to sell the car for as much as they can. Frank was clearly not happy with this. He was condescending and let me know I was not his most difficult customer. He let me know he could handle me. Good thing I was pretty worried for a minute. He tried to blame our sales person Jose for the "incorrect information given" I let him know no incorrect info was given. Jose was only going back to him with the amount we were willing to spend. Frank let me know I knew nothing about the car sales business. I asked him did he know how many cars we had purchased in this in the last 5 decades? We knew the game. He let me know his purchases of vehicles was much more superior to ours. Way to go Frank. You rock...NOT. His attempts to intimidate me were unsuccessful. Sorry Frank boy. Try to do better next time. Spent over 50K for our car received a few free oil changes and couple of tanks of gas.... isn't that expected? Watch out for all the fees and the "extras" they try to tag on. Jose was knowledgeable and answered our questions. Jose truly rocked in his handling of customers. Frank.....well not so much. Would we recommend? No. Because of the way the 'higher ups' try to smooze us older folks - I'd rethink the business with these people. More
I definitely do not recommend this dealership especially the service center. We have had to bring our 2018 optima in at least 3 times in less than one year due to the check engine light. A knock sensor issue which Kia had a huge lawsuit for. Engine recalls and having to be replaced for free. Instead of calling it what it is, this place would rather nickel and dime us and say its everything else but the real problem. And when i say nickel and dime i am talking about thousands of dollars. March last year, knock sensor code. They said it needed the upgrade. That was done for free bc of the engine issues. Oct 2023 lights back on knock sensor code. Its the plugs and wires. Its gonna cost $1000. $1000 for plugs and wires!!! I had them do it bc the service guy Alan said this is the problem and everything is under warranty. Ok lets do it. What a sucker I was bc not even 3 months later lights on again. The story now is its the injectors. They are leaking fuel into the plugs. So paying $1000 for new plugs and wires which they said was the problem now is bc the injectors are bad. Ok but this will cost another $1400!!!!! Then Mr service man, Alan calls to tell me all this. And proceeds to tell me how much it will cost ME. Like its no big deal. And when I push back and show frustration he hangs up on me. Like a child!!! Obviously he cant handle pressure or someone not agreeing with him. He hangs up on you. Great customer service buddy!! Really helps dealing with the frustration I am feeling already. Hopefully they have classes he can go to in order to learn how to handle upset customers like an adult. The sales dept is even more of a joke. Trying to sell me a car for $800 a month. If that was in my budget I would NOT be trying to buy a Kia thats for sure. Just overall this place is bad. Now i have to go get this piece of junk car that Kia knows has issues and bring it home to figure out what to do with it since I still owe $8000 and I am not paying another $1400 for them to put another bandaid on this car when the bigger picture is they should be replacing the engine for free. People for your own sake please do your research on kia optimas before purchasing one. They are beautiful cars to look at which is why i wanted one so bad 3 years ago. But I should have done my research and saved myself money, time and frustration. With times being as tough as they are paying over $3000 in repairs for a car I still owe $8000 and take great care of is just insane!!!!!! More
