Kia of Carson. Do not cater to their customers. They do not try to help. I’ve been without transportation since since 11/22 and they haven’t once offered to help me with a loaner car at all. I’ve been struggling to get to work on a daily basis. All I get is an update on Friday afternoons that my engine is still on back order. I’m currently paying a car note and high insurance on a car I currently do not have. SMH. I need a Corporate manager to reach out to me.

I'm sorry that your recent experiences with us. Many dealers have been turning away customers due to challenges caused by the pandemic such as part delays, slower responses from Kia approving warranty work and staff shortages. We have opted to try to help everyone we can and sometimes, it leads to longer repair times. There are truly factors beyond our control that affect repair times. We are taking steps to improve our customer service and control what we can control. You may see our advisors on their phones because several of our programs are app based. Thank you for the feedback and we will continue to work on making improvments.

Your response to my complaint only makes sense if it were related to this last service (rather, non service) that I had. Excuses only work for the people giving them. In this case that would be you. My experience with Kia of Carson dates back 5 years. I'm not sure how you blame the pandemic and/or shortages on those times? 4 times, exactly. But your response to me was very convenient for you. And it seemed to make sense, although, I know too much about the way you do business. The problem at Kia of Carson is a very serious one, and it is systemic. Every single person I've met at that dealership always points the finger to blame somebody else. Only to finish that sentence with, "It is out of our control"... Again, that is very obvious from your response to me and my review. I have never written a negative review to any business but felt if I didn't write this Review regarding Kia of Carson, it just wouldn't be right or fair. Other people need to know how negatively your business impacts everyday life. Also, I would encourage you and people reading this, to read all of the other reviews. I found so much of what other people said to be very, very true. As is my Review. It's honest and it's true. Your employees have a completely care-less attitude. It shows in everything they do. I've worked with Yuri on 3 occasions, all completely negative and just awful. I didn't write a review about those times and I should have. I never like to give any negative feedback, people have bad days. We are all human. And yet, on this last visit your service advisor, Luis, told me he would call me between 2 and 3pm when the car was ready. That was at 11am. Trying not to be pushy, I didn't call him until 4pm. I left a message, never received a return phone call and ended up going to the dealership. It wasn't until 5:30 that we got a call from Luis, and we were sitting in the waiting room at the dealership. I say we, because my brother ended up losing a whole day as well, not just me. I asked Luis directly why he hadn't called me between 2 and 3 pm as promised and he very casually said, "Oh, I got busy". And to top it all off, Luis told me that the repair would be almost $900 and you'd need the vehicle for a week. I ended up getting the repair done for $350, parts and labor included. And it was done in 40 minutes. So you understand, you had my car for over 6 hours only to tell me nothing had been done and give me a quote? Over 6 hours of waiting for a call and quote. That's is unacceptable. I've worked with so many people there at Kia of Carson, enough to know that new customers should never go to you for any reason. I originally purchased my vehicle from Kia of Irvine, and I have now moved to the service department at Kia of Garden Grove. Both of those Kia dealerships are and have been fantastic. Good Luck on your internal problems, because that's what they are. Inexcusable problems with your management, service and employees. This is an absolute case of BUYER BEWARE of Kia of Carson

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, it's not unusual to make a 2nd trip for a recall. Kia will not allow us to order parts in advance for recalls due to the shortages. We have to see the vehicle and confirm that the recall parts are actually needed and then we can order the part. It's not by our choice, but it's what we have to work with right now. We are working on improving our communication with our guests.
