Charlatan Pros is what you should be called First off, I was lied to from the beginning. Donald told me that I was approved for a car and needed only $500 down. I bought all my paperwork to the dealer and was handed off to Jonathan. This salesman seemed like a inexperienced rookie just eagerly waiting to make his first sales for the month. He gave me false confidence that they would help me with getting financed and kept reassuring me that this dealership performed miracles for those with challenging credit. I kept telling him that I needed to leave after an hour and a half to pick up my mom from work. He obviously was deaf to my voice and all he could see was a person he needed to take advantage of to make a sale. This is what I hate about young salesman. I have been nothing but cooperative and honest about my situation and was still being falsely lead on to believe that I had nothing to worry about. Sadly, they are no different than any other charlatan out there. At least, when I worked with a Kia dealership in San Diego, they didn’t hold me hostage at the dealership while they probe my family tree to see if I could have a willing member co-sign for me. I told Jonathan and the financing guy Ahmed several times I didn’t have one but they hassled me to call everyone I knew and ask them to allow this dealership to run a hard inquiry on their credit. I was honest in telling them that all my family members had below 600 credit score and had an open car loan on their report. Ahmed insisted on running their credit anyways and Jonathan assured me that the credit score is almost 50 points higher on their credit check than what we see online. That’s completely false. My credit score was only 2 point higher with the dealership running it verses credit karma. Now my spouse, myself and my co-signer all have hard inquires on our credit. Plus, they asked to put down more for down payment but I only bought the amount that Donald told me I needed to take a car home. I’m very disappointed that I was strung along by their sales team and then their finance guy gave me false information about the credit run. I told them nothing but the truth and they still thought they were smarter. If they’d just listen and have some respect for people, this would not have been such a bad experience for us. I was late to pick up my mother because Ahmed kept running his mouth telling me something I already knew. I tried to hurry him up and he seemed to be bother by that. Jonathan knew I had to leave at 1pm but this kid ran off and avoided my follow up call after I left the dealership. Car Pro is just another charlatan dealership with employees who don’t have any decency for humanity. Sucks that I wasted half of a beautiful day at this xxxx. I’ll never come back. More
