I've had to bring my 2020 Soul in a couple of times, once for some warranty work, and once for a free transmission controller software upgrade. First time at this dealership. Told the service person to change oil and rotate tires. Got the oil change! The check engine light had been on for several weeks and I assumed it was because the maintenance wa change oil and rotate tires. Got the oil change! The check engine light had been on for several weeks and I assumed it was because the maintenance was due! At other dealerships they run diagnostics if the light was on. Got the car and drove away and noticed that the check engine light was still on. I called back to the service department and they asked me if the light was in when I brought the car in. I told them yes and they said it was an emissions issue and bring the car back in 4 hours. I didn’t go back since I felt the issue should have been taken care of when I had the car there. I’ll go to another dealership and hope they will handle the issue. I gave this dealership a shot but won’t be back! More
