Finance Manager never filed my warranty cancellation papers I purchases a vehicle on October 17th, 2019. On October 18th, I noticed a $2500 extended warranty had been added to the contract, which I missed duri I purchases a vehicle on October 17th, 2019. On October 18th, I noticed a $2500 extended warranty had been added to the contract, which I missed during the final paperwork signing, and inadvertently signed on. I called that same day to ask about cancelling and made an appointment to fill out the cancellation paperwork on October 19th, which I did. Phil told me that it would take up to 16 weeks to get my money refunded from Allstate! After I filed the cancellation paperwork, I began receiving emails from Allstate to set-up my new warranty account. I called Allstate today, November 19, 2019, to find out why they were continuing to ask me to set up an account when I had cancelled the warranty 1 month ago. They said they hadn't received the notice to cancel, and that they also hadn't been paid for the warranty, so all the dealership needed to do was send the $2500 to my loan servicer. When I called the dealership, and spoke to a nice woman in finance, Erin, she stated that Phil had NEVER given her the cancellation paperwork that I signed on October 19th. She stated this was about the 4th time this month that he had done this to someone. She fortunately had just received my invoice from Allstate and was able to cancel the policy over the phone and immediately cut the check to refund the money! So basically, Phil LIED in hopes that me, and apparently others, would miss the deadline to cancel or forget about it, and still get his money for this warranty. TERRIBLE! More
The dealership is very clean and the employees are very friendly. The GM is very involved and greets every customer. I do feel that the price of the vehicle could have dropped more. This was the best car buying experience ever! Cody was amazing! We exchanged emails for about a week since I was traveling to Auburn from Huntsville. Josh and Phil were great as well! The drive from Huntsville was well worth it, not only did I get a great car, but the experience was elevated by the great customer service I received.
