Not your typical car buying experience Let me start off by saying that my first new car buying experience was actually an enjoyable day. Brandon Gray worked with us and educated us through Let me start off by saying that my first new car buying experience was actually an enjoyable day. Brandon Gray worked with us and educated us through the entire process and even after the sale. We originally started with getting a TrueCar price through USAA's website. I received a phone call in less than one minute from getting my quote. Brandon wanted to see if I had any questions about the car. He educated me on the features available and the key points of the car. He didn't pressure me to go with their dealership, but he talked about how he was one of the few non commission Kia dealers in the area. I received many other calls from other dealerships just trying to get me to go to their dealership. They were much more pushy about the whole situation. That Saturday my wife and I drove to Auburn from Columbus to test drive the car. Brandon was ready to go when we got there. He already had one of the cars pulled up to the door for us to see. He spent about 30 minutes or so showing us all of the features. The test drive was great. I mean it does have a turbo in it! Unfortunately, at the time, he only had the base model or the fully loaded one. We wanted the one in between. The negotiations began at this time. Brandon was not pushy at all. He wanted to know what price range we would need to have him "earn our business". We were able to get a great price by financing through them. The entire negotiation process was super simple, and I didnt feel taken advantage of because it was my first time buying from a dealership. The finance manager was super helpful in the loan process and didn't try to rush us into signing anything. After all the paperwork was done, Brandon could have just said "enjoy your new car" but instead he showed us some of the finer details about the car before we left. He spent at least another 30 minutes walking us through the rest of the car. Some of these things I would have never even known about. Brandon followed up with me the following Monday to make sure everything was going well with the car. Weeks later he was still super helpful when we were havinga issues with getting our license plates. Most car dealerships would just make you do all the leg work with the DMV, but he personally called them to figure it out for us. Kia of Auburn is creating a new standard of customer service in the car industry. People would not dread going to a car dealership if they were all like this. I never would have guessed I would become friends with the car salesman, but that is just how great the experience was for my wife and I! I highly recommend them for anyone interested in buying a Kia! More

I have always heard about pushy salespeople and bargaining tactics. I even researched bargaining tactics before going in because I had no idea what I was getting into. This was not the only dealership I was speaking with about buying a car, but it's the one I decided to go with because Brandon listened to me. When I told him that I wasn't sure of something, he didn't push and push and push me until I gave in. He gave me time and checked in with me to see how he could help. When it came to my trade-in, he had some excellent advice and definitely helped me get the best value. Going into the office to talk about financing, I was sure I was going to spend a lot of time trying to get the price down. However, I was pleasantly surprised when Brandon came in with a number that was almost exactly what I had in my head going in! The process was not tedious, as it can be with other dealerships. The staff was easy to work with and supportive. I was not pressured into anything and felt like my business mattered. I think that was the most important part of this: my business mattered. They know that I won't be able to buy another car for a long time, but they still treated me like a regular customer. I hate going into places and having the employees treat you like your money doesn't matter to them. Brandon and the rest of the staff really seemed to have an understanding that it wasn't just about getting my money, it was about getting me into a new, safer, more reliable vehicle that I could afford. Brandon listened to me and didn't try to talk me out of the car I wanted or try to upsale to something I couldn't afford. He found me the exact car I wanted and gave me the (almost) exact price I wanted. The gentleman who did the financing portion (Scott) was also very professional. He walked me through the entire financing process and used language that was clear and easy to understand. He made me feel like they weren't just trying to get my money because he made a recommendation to pay more than my monthly payment to help being down the interest charges. I really appreciated that. Buying a car from Kia of Auburn was an easy experience and one that I would highly recommend. More

It was apparent our salesman, Jon Moore, really cared about finding the right car for me. My happiness was his top priority both during and after the sale. No question was too small or need not met. Even after the sale, he took the time to give me a personal phone call to ensure I was still pleased with my new Optima and answer any questions I had. I cannot say enough positive things about Our experience. I recommend anyone shopping for a car to go visit Jon at Kia of Auburn. More
