I had a Great! sales experience with no complaints ,However the service department has been nothing but headaches if I had known this I probably would have never pu sales experience with no complaints ,However the service department has been nothing but headaches if I had known this I probably would have never purchased from them. brought my 2023 Sportage in for a recall they told me the part would not be in for 2 day hence leaving me without a vehicle to get to work or to a wedding I had planned for that weekend. Monday comes 4 days later still no call ,had to get a ride there so I could speak to someone in person because I couldn't get anyone on the phone for days!!They then told me the part was on back order and was coming from out of the country that they had no idea how long it could take all this while I am without a car for work. They couldn't even off a loaner ? They said to rent a car and Kia would reimburse me. Do they not understand not everyone has extra money laying around to rent a car. fast forward to a month later I'm driving to work my check engine light comes on and car is vibrating all over the place I call to see if I can bring the car in not sure if it will even make it there ? The tell me no appointment available until Monday mind you it is Thursday !! I explained I commute for work and not sure if car will make it back to my home in another county ,Let alone until Monday? it wouldn't be that big of a deal if they at least offered a loaner so you can continue to go about your daily life but its like they just don't care ! its pretty much figure it out yourself. So now I am at work with no way to get home I have to call someone for a ride let alone I will have to miss work tomorrow because I wont have a way to get there. If this is what having a "new" car involves from Kia of west Nyack I most definitely Would have bought somewhere else. Their service department really needs to do better. More
