I checked out Delray Kia online and saw a 2013 Sorento EX I was interested in. I called and told them I only wanted a white car with beige leather interior, nav system, etc. They told me they had one that pe I was interested in. I called and told them I only wanted a white car with beige leather interior, nav system, etc. They told me they had one that perfectly filled those requests and sent me an email showing the exact car. The person then asked if I wanted to come in and test drive the car. I said yes and made an appt for 5:15 the next day. I received at least 10 phone calls that next day from various people confirming my appt. I asked them why they had to call so many times to confirm an appt and that I couldn't really keep being disturbed at work. I was told to ask for DJ on every phone call so when I got there at 5:15 and asked for DJ, I was surprised when he said "oh, anyone can help you." There were a bunch of young salesmen just hanging around and no one knew who I was or what I was there for. So I had to start from scratch and tell them what car I was looking for. The young man left the "showroom" (I use that term loosely as there were only two cars in the showroom") and was gone for about 20 minutes. I asked them what was going on and that I was surprised the car I was coming to test drive wasn't out front ready for me, especially considering the amount of confirmation phone calls i received. After 20 minutes, the young man said he finally located the car I wanted, a used 2011 with 29,000 miles! I asked him if he was joking and showed him the email I received detailing the brand new 2013 EX. The "manager" then said, "oh, gee, I just swapped out that car this afternoon." They are unprofessional, liars, and it is not a place I would ever buy a car. I went directly across the street and purchased a 2012 Cadillac SRX for only a few thousand dollars more. The people at Cadillac were so nice, professional and courteous - something this Kia dealership really lacks. I would just caution anyone to do their due diligence before going there and if you suspect you are being played with, leave immediately. More
The fastest car deal I think I've ever been involved in. It usually takes 4 to 5 hours in the dreadful buying experience. But, at Grieco KIA, I think I was in and out from start to finish within 2.5 hours. It usually takes 4 to 5 hours in the dreadful buying experience. But, at Grieco KIA, I think I was in and out from start to finish within 2.5 hours. There was a little of the back and forth game, but that's always expected. This was a bit different though, DJ who sits behind the desk counter actually took the time to walk over and introduce himself and sat down with me to see what had to be done to sell me the car. He was very personable with me, showed me pictures of his daughters and made me felt like I was talking to a normal human being and not so much a "salesman". Kevin, was an awesome down-to-earth guy who made me laugh a lot and knew his product very well. I'm very happy with my new purchase and will always come say hello while I'm having my service done. You both make an awesome team and Grieco KIA should be proud to have you on the payroll. More
I walked in to have my car serviced & was looking around the showroom. Rich approached me & I told him I went thru bankruptcy a year ago and tho I wanted a larger car I was sure I wouldn't be approv around the showroom. Rich approached me & I told him I went thru bankruptcy a year ago and tho I wanted a larger car I was sure I wouldn't be approved. He asked if I would be willing to give it a try & I said I would if I wasn't pressured. He did the paperwork and I was approved. Only trouble was only new cars were available & the payments were to high. Rich promised that he would have a car for me in 2 weeks time and would call me when one came in. I only wanted a KIA, a Soul if possible. one week later he called me & I drove off with a perfect 2010 Soul. He worked with DJ to get the payment I could afford. Rich was amazing & I appreciated DJ working with him. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. I am extremely satisfied with the way this dealership works. More
On May 31, I bought a Kia Sedona (2012) from this dealership. At the time, I asked that the rear seat DVD entertainment package be installed on the vehicle (which is an optional package the vehicle dealership. At the time, I asked that the rear seat DVD entertainment package be installed on the vehicle (which is an optional package the vehicle didn't have). I was told the part was needing to be ordered. Appx a week later, we scheduled the installation appointment. We dropped our vehicle off in the morning a few days later with the understanding that the vehicle would be ready the next afternoon around 2pm. We called back at 3pm the next day, and vehicle was not ready. At 4pm, we were told vehicle was not there. It had been driven to Ft Laud for service (something we neither had authorized or even known was going to happen). We finally received notification that the vehicle would be ready around 6:00pm. When we arrived at 6:40, we found the vehicle to be filthy. We were told that since it came back at 6:00, there had not been time to clean it. I checked the instrument panel to find that over 100 miles had been driven (it's nowhere near 50 miles per direction to Ft Laud from your location), and more than half a tank of gas had been used. I commented on it, and the salesman just shrugged. At that time, I looked up at the DVD unit and noticed a small hole in the headliner roughly the size of a pen tip. I commented on it, and the salesman shrugged again. I stated that I wanted to speak to the manager. We went inside, and I sat down at a table. I was ignored (with the exception of 2 passing glances) by the "manager" while he walked out to the car twice, looked at the hole, took pictures with his cellular phone, and made a couple of phone calls. The salesman then drove my wife to get gas at a local station. Upon their return, he informed me that the manager had to get in touch with the installer to have the issue with the headliner figured out. When I got home (I had to follow my wife, as due to a mileage limit on loaner cars, we had to inconvenience ourselves to have service done that we had paid for), my wife had a puzzled look on her face, and she informed me that the sound was not working from the stereo speakers. I noticed at that time, that the DVD package was nothing more than an Audiovox DVD unit (retails for under $300 on Amazon.com, while we had agreed on a purchase price of 1200 for the "package" at time of purchase). I called the next morning and explained my issue to one of the secretaries (I believe she was a secretary) who told me that the manager was coming in at noon and that the manager would call as soon as he/she was in. At 3pm, I called back (as I had received no call yet), and was given to a man who treated me pretty roughly as I explained my issue. His responses were 1) Your workup didn't specify a dvd package (I never saw a workup. I had explained that I wanted the Optional Package that comes with the car to the salesman. We had spoken with a "manager" who explained prices, and I had agreed on the "package" price) 2) We installed a DVD player in your car like you requested 3) What, you don't like what you got for the money you paid? Is that it? 4) What do you want me to do? I can't take you out of the car! (When I explained that would not be an unreasonable request, as we now had a damaged vehicle with a unit that was not what I purchased and I didn't know how they were going to fix that, his response was that was "NOT going to happen") 5) That's an unfair request! (When I asked him to put himself in my shoes. I asked him to tell me what he would expect if he walked onto a NEW car dealership lot and requested whether a package available on a vehicle from the factory was available to be installed. Would he expect a new factory part or an aftermarket part) I explained that I just wanted what I felt I had paid for, and that I felt badly duped by the sales practices. I explained that I was sorry that he was having to deal with someone else's mistakes, but that management must do that. I was told that he would get the proper part, and we would hear back. Appx 10 days later, we heard from an installer who told us that he would be coming to our house to install the part. We scheduled a time, and the day before (now in the first week in July), he called us to tell us that the part that had been ordered had previously been opened and was missing parts. He told us that he had requested the dealership to order another. When he got the right one, he came to my house and noticed that the installer had pretty much cemented the unit to the roof of my vehicle, and that to install the new unit, he would have to replace the headliner (something that was supposed to be done anyway). He said he would discuss how this was to be fixed with the dealership and get back to me. Since then, I have had NO correspondence from anyone representing the dealership or the installer regarding my issue. I still have the same, incorrect (in my opinion) DVD unit as well as a hole in my headliner that was supposed to be fixed. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service that I have been shown through this entire process. I was supposed to have been contacted by Kia regarding the purchase experience I received during their sales process. I have never received the contact (I would LOVE to give them my opinion). I feel like this dealership only cares about you until you sign the dotted line. I will NEVER buy another car from this business. If you want to buy a car and get whatever they want to put in there, go here. If you care about service "After the sale", go elsewhere More

I went to Delray KIA for some info on the new KIA OPTIMA as I'm in the market in the couple weeks. I was very open and told DJ that I wouldn't be purchasing that day, he was completely ok with talking with as I'm in the market in the couple weeks. I was very open and told DJ that I wouldn't be purchasing that day, he was completely ok with talking with me as a normal human being an not as a "car salesman" and gave off the no pressure attitude, which I absolutely loved. He was very knowledgeable in the KIA product and the financing area as well. I gathered all the info that DJ gave me and will be doing business with him in the next week or so. I think DJ is a very sweet and nice guy who is "no pressure". Who cares what kind of tie he or anyone else wears at their place of business. I'm sure he does very well and believe it or not, I'm trading in my 2009 Mercedes Benz CLS for the Optima so to add to the comment below, the KIA is the new Mercedes. Also, the comment below and the person(s) is very rude and should grow up and realize that life is way to short to hate life and yourself. DJ, your the greatest and I'll see you shortly. More
