For the last two month, I was looking for a new vehicle to replace my Honda CR-V. Since all the vehicles that I owned in the past were either Toyota or Honda, naturally I was looking for another vehicle f to replace my Honda CR-V. Since all the vehicles that I owned in the past were either Toyota or Honda, naturally I was looking for another vehicle from one of them. I did visit their dealerships and I was not happy. Especially, in a local Honda dealership from whom I had bought my vehicle, my family and I were looking at the CR-V that was parked within the building in plain sight of Sales Consultant and Sales Manager for full 30 minutes, yet not a single person approached us. I was terribly disappointed. Then I had read an article in Bloomberg Business Week about Kia and how it has become fastest growing Auto Company in the United States that matches any Japanese vehicle and provides one of the best warranties in the industry. Therefore, I thought of visiting Kia Country to take a look at Kia vehicles and I honestly say, that is the best thing I did in my search for the vehicle. I was greeted by Mr. Jermaine White and he showed me the choices available in Sorento SUVs. Right from the beginning, with my discussions with Mr. White, I was impressed with his knowledge on Kia vehicles. It was Saturday; I went home and brought my wife back to test drive the vehicle on Tuesday. Alas, the vehicle that I was looking for had gone on Monday, but Mr. White offered wide range of other vehicle options, including trying to locate Kia vehicle that we wanted with other Kia dealers. During all this time, Mr. White patiently answered all the questions that we had and all the how-about-this scenarios. Based on our need of having comfortable third row seats, Mr. White guided us towards Sedona min-van, as it was more suitable for us – family of four. With my past experience with vehicle purchases, I was expecting a long time in negotiations and back-and-forth offers and counter offers when I was ready to buy the vehicle. To my surprise, with Mr. While on my side, the whole process was exceptionally smooth. I had calculated the price I was willing to pay for the vehicle based on my research with Edmunds and other sites, but to my astonishment, the final price was still even lower than what I thought was the best price. While I cannot still believe, I was signing the papers with the Finance Manager within an hour of test driving the vehicle. This could not have happened, without timely and focused assistance from Mr. White. Generally, society has stereo typed “Car Salesman”. I am definitely sure whoever created that stereo type has not met Mr. White. I consider Mr. White as a well wisher, who is interested in matching the vehicles for customer’s needs and serving customers necessity, rather than forcing the customers to buy what is not suitable for them. My tween aged old daughter is happy that she has her own third row seat all for herself; my toddler son is happy that he has his own separate seat like daddy & mummy and he is not near his elder sister to bothering him anymore; my wife is happy for spacious vehicle and more over doesn’t have to listen to hear squabbles of two kids; I am happy that everyone is happy in the vehicle – so peaceful long journeys. I like dealing with Kia Country of Charleston because they make you feel like you are their only customer. Every one there is very friendly, yet professional. I have purchased 6 cars from this dealership over the past few years because of the people who work there. This includes the sales staff and the service staff. Elijah Tucker is my sales person, and he is always courteous, helpful, and professional. Although they sell a lot of cars, they have the feel of a "small" dealership, because they treat me like I'm one of the "family", and I enjoy going there. I will continue to buy all of my cars there as long as this type of genuine atmosphere exists. More
I had the first service appointment for the day @ 8 am. The entire service department was not in when I arrived. The service clerk gave me a free oil change coupon for my inconvenience which I redeemed with the service. Within 30 minutes my car was ready and I was on my way. The service clerk was very apologetic for being late but the delay was not her fault. My overall experience was very good. More
We had visited several other dealerships and found Kia Country to be very pleasant and easy to deal with. They gave me a fair trade in on my jeep and my daughter is very happy with the car we bought from Country to be very pleasant and easy to deal with. I needed a new car before the one I had died on me, so I went to a tun of different car dealerships looking. They didnt just try to get me in the car to make a sale they put me in something i liked and that was in my price range. I had a great experience and will be buying my next car from there as well. I worked with Derek on multiple occasions and he helped me find the car for me. It has been almost 1 year since I bought my car new and I don't regret it one bit. I probably went in and out of the dealership 8 to 10 times over a week and a half before I settled, and it was great to not have the constant pressure to sign too soon. I still like to stop in at the dealership for car service, and I always feel welcomed everytime. Give them a chance and they will help you find a great car! - "Yellow Shoes" More
I am always greeted so cheerfully when entering the KIA Service area. I went in for a routine oil change, inspection, and 2 new tires and I was in and out of there within an hour! The waiting room has been revamped and now has very comfortable seating. Tim Dooley went out of his way to make sure that I got the best possible price for the services rendered. HE also made sure that I was comfortable while waiting in the waiting room. I have never been disappointed with KIAs service. They go above and beyond to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. I highly recommend this dealership to anybody in the area. More

I bought a new car from them. I got a great deal and a great car (2011 Kia Soul). I also had fantastic service with Dereck. Due to some confusion I was not informed correctly about what chords were compat great car (2011 Kia Soul). I also had fantastic service with Dereck. Due to some confusion I was not informed correctly about what chords were compatible to connect my iPod to the car. When I went into the dealership to buy the correct cord I found out it was $50. After not being informed correctly, and finding the cords on eBay for $15, I felt completely taken advantage of. I walked out without buying the cord, and called the dealership a little while later. After raising my concerns to Derek he gave me the cord for free. I have worked in customer service in various forms for the past 8 years, and I know that good customer service means making a bad situation right. Derek did that for me, and I would recommend Kia Country to anyone interested in buying a Kia. More
