He showed me a couple different packages and we got with Adam and we worked together and came to a agreement. It was all in all a great car buying experience. I highly recommend these guys. Ongoing repair issue I bought a 2014 Chevy Spark (used car) from Kia Country of Charleston. The car looked in great shape and only had 32000 miles on it, so I took it for I bought a 2014 Chevy Spark (used car) from Kia Country of Charleston. The car looked in great shape and only had 32000 miles on it, so I took it for a test drive and purchased it. The price was $8,000 which I found reasonable given the above information. I thought I'd purchased a car that would serve me for at least a few years with no issues. In addition to the sticker price I also purchased a $2000 extended gold warranty. So my total price was close to $11,000. In less than a year there was a failure of the coolant system which resulted in a blown head gasket. I took the car back to Kia Country of Charleston, with no appointment, but basically the car was undrive-able so I dropped it off. The dealership and the warranty people keep going back and forth debating on levels of repair, but bottom line it's been 33 days since I took the car there and there is no end in sight. Also no loaner car available. At this point if they would take the car back and pay off my loan I'd be a happy camper, but probably that's not going to happen. I hope to get my car back soon, but who knows. The warranty people need to inspect repairs to approve them and Kia tells me the delay is because of that. Still. 33 days for any repair is unreasonable. If they provided a loaner car, that might be a different story, but the loaners (which Kia doesn't have available) are only covered for ten days. Not happy. I may update this review if I get resolution. I probably shouldn't post this as they might hold this against me, but I feel I have a legitimate complaint. I feel I am not a priority at all, although I think they'd want to settle this to get me out of their hair. On a side note, I was even willing to trade this in on a new car, but because I am so underwater on this car because of the warranty being part of my loan, my new payment would have been out of my budget. Like I said earlier in this review, at this point I would be happy if they just took the car off my hands and took care of the loan. I know that is wishful thinking. More
phenomenal customer service My fiancé and I were greeted warmly by a gentleman named Tim Leray. He was very patient and informative about any and all questions we had. Even after the papers were signed and the deal was done he still took his time to look into a couple concerns we had without seeming aggravated or annoyed. Also he said he would send me a Kia mug I liked and I’m looking forward to that!!! I asked if he could throw one in and he was kind enough to say he’d mail me one of his. ( I love travel mugs!!) He was very nice and allowed us to take our time. Never once felt rushed . He also was kind enough to offer us drinks several times . A true gentleman. I would highly recommend this salesman to anyone !!!! Come see him!!!! Everyone there was very nice including the gentleman who did our final paper work . Also I appreciate the guys who got us approved for a loan from the bank because it was not looking good however they were able to make it happen and we are forever grateful. Definitely five-star customer service! Loving our new Kia!!! More
Fast service and not pushy! My husband and I drove from Myrtle Beach to Charleston first of all because Kia Country in Charleston has the best price for the 2019 Kia Sorento. My husband and I work long hours and they were able to get a lot of the preliminary work done before we drove to Charleston. Once we got there, we went for a quick test drive. Our car salesman Frank was AWESOME. He was so down to earth and not your typical pushy car salesman. I knew what I wanted before we even got to the dealership and he respected that. Bill and Andy made the rest of the process quick and easy and we were able to get all of our paperwork signed and left shortly after that with our brand new Kia. If you are considering a Kia, I would just skip your local dealership and drive to Kia County in Charleston. You won't be dissapointed! More
