On 3 September 2012. My wife and I came into this dealership to hopefully purchase a vehicle. The floor manager Chris Jenkins while friendly at first, about an hour later of attempting to make a deal dealership to hopefully purchase a vehicle. The floor manager Chris Jenkins while friendly at first, about an hour later of attempting to make a deal on a vehicle turned into an all out yelling match that spilled into the parking lot. Chris, my wife and I could not come to a deal so my wife and I thanked both associates that worked with us and and attempted to get up and walk to our vehicle. Mr.Jenkins proceeded to tell us how he was trying to save us money on a vehicle and so fourth. He then told me to follow him to the new vehicle we were interested in and told us he would sell it to us 2000 dollars under MSRP. At this point tensions are high between myself and Chris and he proceeds to tell my wife and I, I can tell by your body language you are struggling to make payments. This is when I told Chris have a nice day and again my wife and I attempted to walk away to our vehicle and drive away. Mr. Jenkins still insisted on getting his point across about how much money he was trying to save us. I told him that I was done with him and did not want to talk to him any longer as I could tell he was getting upset. I again told him to leave my wife and I alone and he replied This is my dealership and I do not have to go anywhere. By this time there are about 8 car sales people standing in the parking lot observing there floor manager harassing me. I realized Mr. Watts the other associate had not given me my keys to my old vehicle, so while I asked Mr. Watts for my keys, he had to go back into the dealership to get them. While waiting Mr. Jenkins is still attempting to talk to me, so again I told him to leave me I told him he was being very unprofessional. I even had to walk from around my car to yell at the associates standing around observing to come get Mr. Jenkins away from me. Mr. Watts finally returned my keys and while super frustrated I blurted out towards Mr. Jenkins, So this is how you treat a U.S. Soldier and my wife and I got in my vehicle and drove away. Mr. Jenkins embarrassed my wife and I and totally insulted us in the parking lot of a dealership. He was totally unprofessional and should have realized if the sale wasn't going to be made to walk away himself and not get into an argument with a customer because we were trying to walk away. I definitely will not hold the whole dealership accountable for one persons actions. Unfortunately for my wife and I, we had an horrible experience with this being our first KIA dealership. More
