I love working with Rene. Such a pleasant and trusting person to work with on my boss' car service needs. Easy to get along with and he'll tell me if there's a service we don't need, which I like. Went to the dealer for the magnetic suspension update after calling ahead for an appointment, showed them the documentation and they write me a service agreement with $350. This is after saying its not possible on a Saturday (even though I made an appointment) as the tech line is closed. I call the line in front them which shows they're open on Saturday, so they agree to go ahead. 4 hours later they call me back they need $480 instead, as they want to charge a full hour of labor for the programming, even though the $350 includes 0.3 hours of labor already as per the documentation. So I've just wasted half a day and $80 on transportation home and back for nothing. They want to charge a 50% markup just like that! Very dishonest. Filing a complaint with GM too. More
