Before I even got behind the wheel for my test drive, the salesman pushed me to apply for financing. I'd told him we weren't settled on that car. Day of test, I'm lead to believe I'll get close to 2K for my tradein, and they'll modify the new anyway I need. In between the initial test drive and the day of negotiating, I had immense difficulty in reaching my salesman by phone....receptionist put me through to wrong person. Then salesman simply never called me back. Then when I told him, after a second test drive, what time I'd be back? They got it wrong. TWICE. Then they assured me we'd get in to see him at 830, because my husband took time off work, and we were ignored until well after 9am. Didn't see my salesman until close to 930. Day we go to negotiate? 500 for tradein, they come at me quoting MSRP and won't budge. They say I'm not working with them bc I won't discuss financing and my down payment. They're separate things!!! But they wouldn't budge on any prices. The "sales manager" was too aggressive and rude. He walked away from the dealings. Even the "I want my keys, I'm going to leave" didn't work. After all of the butt kissing from the salesman, they didn't want our business. The salesman also lied and was very misleading about what could be done for the car. He claimed all sorts of mods could be made to suit our needs, yet the "sales manager" tried to get me to believe that optional accessories, such as Ipod cable, first aid kit, floor mats....were put in there at the factory and couldn't be taken out. All in all, the car I wanted (from their sister dealership) had $500 of "optional accessories" that I didn't want or need, yet they refused to take them out. Flat out refused and tried to con me. These people wasted more than 6 hours total of my time during all of my visits. Too bad, they lost my sale. It went to Danbury Hyundai who beat out Key by 1500 ALL DONE BY PHONE. They also confirmed that we were being lied to about those "optional accessories". I do not ever wish to be contacted by any resolution center. I bought my car elsewhere, there's nothing left to be said or done. More
I came to look for a new car at Hyundai of Milford and Alex Ortiz was quick to greet me and offer he's help. Just with a couple of questions he knew what I was looking for and found me a 2013 sonata. I went in looking for a new car with my brother and we walked around the lot and then went inside to talk to a sales person and was helped by Donald Jones. I was in need of a car and had visited a different dealership four months ago. My credit is not the greatest, and when this other dealership discovered this, they were not willing to help me. While driving to the dealership, I had knots in my stomach, afraid that this was going to happen again. My boyfriend and I were barely out of our care when we were approached by Alex Ortiz. He had a ready smile and a hand shake for us. When we sat down to run numbers, he said that leasing would not be an option, but they had a couple of cars on the lot that I could fit into. We took a 2010 Nissan Versa for a test drive and I liked it. I was concerned about price, but between Alex and Anthony Walker, they were able to get me into a payment I was comfortable with into a car that was a good fit for me and my lifestyle. I left very happy and pleased that we had made an impromptu choice to go to Key. Thank you to all the wonderful staff that helped me with my important purchase today!! More
Went to this dealer through a recommendation of a excar salesman I know. I called Wednesday in regards to a car on their lot. Within 30 Minutes Erin had already contacted me in regards to setting up an salesman I know. I called Wednesday in regards to a car on their lot. Within 30 Minutes Erin had already contacted me in regards to setting up an appointment to see and drive the car with the sales associate recommended to me by a friend. Friday I went to the lot checked out their inventory. Alan Rudman was very professional in every way a salesman should be. I had a car to trade in also. Which is how i came to meet Andre Laporte who is very friendly and will work with you 100% in meeting you with what you want for your trade. When it was time for the paperwork (Saturday afternoon) is when I was introduced to Carlos Trindade.I has walked into the lot expecting to need a cosigner, Carlos informed me he could finance me by myself. Which was music to my ears. He was great with explaining everything as many times as I asked and never got aggravated or annoyed not matter how "dumb" is the word I'll use seemed. I am blown away by the amount of courtesy shown to me and the lack of stress and haggling need to get me into the car I wanted to drive off the lot with. Which I did do Saturday night at 7p when their doors closed at 6p. This dealer will really go the extra mile to get you into the car you want. More
My experience was primarily with Maurice Moody, who is not listed above. I also spent some time with Anthony Walker. This the fourth car leased or purchased from Hyundai. As in the past the sales experience at Key Hyundai has been excellent. I highly recommend both Maurice and Anthony. They both get very high marks for courtesy and friendliness and apparent desire to provide customer satsifaction. they were very friendly & helpful. I got just what I needed. they are just a little slow. I was there for over 2 hrs filling out paperwork on the new car I was buying & my car wasn't ready when I wanted needed. they are just a little slow. I had been looking into buying a new car since my car was on its last leg. Started looking at the Hyundai's and really liked them, so i decided to check them out. I started out in Meriden since that was cl on its last leg. Started looking at the Hyundai's and really liked them, so i decided to check them out. I started out in Meriden since that was closer to where I live. I was not overly impressed with the service there. Wanted to check out a few other places to compare so I went to Key in Milford. Service was amazing, employee's were extremely nice and helpful. Went in just to check out some cars and prices but ended up buying a car that day. More
