The sales associate, Mary Doherty greeted us outside on a very cold, late Saturday afternoon. We had only stopped to look at the new MDX's on our way to dinner and we were surprised to find the dealership s very cold, late Saturday afternoon. We had only stopped to look at the new MDX's on our way to dinner and we were surprised to find the dealership still open. Mary did not rush us, or push us into a purchase that night. Instead she treated us like guests in her home, serving hot chocolate and she encouraged us to take a test drive. The MDX is an easy sell, a no brainer, it's just awesomeand it's our second one. But Mary and Bill gave us the extra special customer service that sealed the deal. We left that night without signing a paper. Needless to say we returned to following week to buy the vechicle. And the service doesn't stop there, Mary follows up on the purchase to make sure everyone is happy. We highly recommend Boardwalk Acura, the MDX and especially Mary Doherty! Thank you. More
I purchased an acura over the internet. I was very afraid as I live in the mid-west and would not be able to see the car in person. Brian, my salesman, told me the car was in great shape and I went ahead wit as I live in the mid-west and would not be able to see the car in person. Brian, my salesman, told me the car was in great shape and I went ahead with the sale, thinking I would have to travel to New Jersey to pick up the car. As it turned out, Boardwalk had it shipped to me which was great! When the car arrived, it had been damaged during shipping. After one conversation with manager John Cevoli, everything was taken care of. This transaction, especially with Boardwalk Acura, has put my mind at ease when shopping for a car via my computer! Mary Doherty is a low pressure salesperson that is immediately likable. After some undecision on my part, once we started negotiations, all went smoothly. He was agreeable to most of my requests and Acura's Loyalty program made it easy for me to lease another car. I am extremely happy with my experience at Boardwalk Acura, including the closing with the business manager. They spoke with him, gave him a great price and less than a week after his initial visit there, I leased my brand new Acura MDX. Buying/leasing a car can be very stressful; however Boardwalk Acura has made it a pleasure to lease this vehicle. More
First Car (Acura RDX) - Dealer was very responsive and competitve with Internet quote. When we arrived at the dealer, we were presented with pricing that was more than we had discussed on the phone. After reviewing with Bill Becker - General Sales Manager, he had indicated that the Internet Sales Consultant had incorrectly quoted us and that with the pricing quoted, the dealership was going to lose money on the deal. He stated that he would honor the Internet quote and we accepted delivery on the car once located. They quickly located the car we wanted and it took approx. 1 hour to get through all paperwork. The car was very clean and one blemish we found was fixed when we took delivery. Second Car (Acura TSX) - Our love of the RDX expedited shopping for a new second car. We were undecided, but after test driving the TSX at another dealership closer to home, we decided that the TSX was the next car for us. We were presented with a lease offer at the local dealership (not Boardwalk) which they said was competitive. After getting home, I called Bill directly and asked for a quote on comparable lease terms, without discussing the cost of the lease offer I already had in hand. Bill went right to his best price, which was much more competitive. I called the next day at 2pm to tell him I wanted the car and picked it up at 5:30pm. I drove off the lot at 8:15pm. Given the quick turnaound and the fact that they were short staffed, delivery took longer than our previous experience, but everyone worked as quickly as possible. Bottom line - Boardwalk Acura knows their cars, provide very competitive pricing and are loyal to their customers. I look forward to referring friends and family to them (since we just bought 2 cars in 2 weeks, I think we are out of the market for a little while...). More

Mary is a wonderful salesperson.My experience was very pleasant. Mary made the process of buying a car very "non stressful". The service department was very accomodating. Two months ago we went to a Nissan dealer in Manahawkin and were attacked by the sales force. We were SO turned off by that experiance that we put off buying a car. Then we saw the Acura TL on the internet and decided to go the Broadway Acura on a Sunday to see the car and avoid the Sales people. We loved it so went online and got quotes from 3 dealers. They were within $400.00 of each other. We made an appointment for the next Friday. When we got there, Mary met us at the door and brought us to Bill's desk. There we went over the numbers and everything was out in the open, there were no games. Bill was very honest and fair. We waited for the ATTACK of a sales manager, but there was none. Mary took us on a test drive and was very informative. She went over everything the car had to offer, and there was a LOT!. Back at the office, we finalized the offer and Mary stayed two hours past her regular day to make sure every thing went well. And it did. Mary and Bill made our visit a very plesant one. I will recommend them and their office any time I hear someone is looking for a car. More
